I visited on 25th Dec. The Hotel breakfast timing is from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. I was in the shikara ride during that time. I called the hotel at 9:30 AM to accommodate for breakfast as i will reach around 10::15AM.
When I reached the hotel at 10:15 AM and asked if they can provide breakfast, the resturant guys were so rude and served mentioning these are the left food which we can give. The quality was too bad and the behaviour was worse.
Please think before visiting the hotel as the room are also very average quality and staff needs a lot of improvement

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arcadia Regency Alleppey last week. The hotel is located in a scenic spot near the backwaters, and offers a variety of amenities and services to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food was delicious and the buffet had a lot of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and the spa facilities. The hotel also arranged for a houseboat cruise and a sightseeing tour for me, which were amazing experiences. I would highly recommend Hotel Arcadia Regency Alleppey to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation in Kerala. I give it a 5 star rating without any hesitation.

We stayed at the Arcadia for one night in January 2007. We wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were clean and comfortable and bathroom was of a good standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also excellent value considering some of the other places we stayed at in Kerala (R900 non a/c) It was a bonus to find the pool on the roof where you can look over Allepey and at least partly get away from the traffic noise. Very good hotel!

Returning to the lovely hotel that my husband and I visited a few times, , and a little treat for my niece, could not believe the state of the place.it looked as if they had striped the rooms, including the fridge, and just left it bare, with 2 beds, and ofcourse, filthy net curtains. What a let down.I thought that the pool would make up for it, but alas, what we saw , disgusted us there, with rubbish in it, and surrounding area, the same. It's time they changed their Web site, because they still have the swimming pool, etc..and lovely rooms. A real No No, and it's time all these sites, go and inspect all the hotel rooms, before recommending to people, as there is too many disappointments, with people paying for these hotels, that don't live up to the description.

For a price range and a tag that the front office desk projected (4star) it's just good to be called a bed & breakfast hotel. The first impression as you are about to enter the room is that of entering a moss filled room. The entrance door would never close and had to take the help of the room boy to get the door to close. The wait staff used to forget orders that had been placed through the room service and had to run back to get the right order. This hotel would be just ideal if you are stuck in Alleppey with no other hotel choices. Not worth it.

I stayed here for two days and i really don't recommended this hotel because of following reasons 1)Hotel is crawling with drunkards and we cannot walk to the parking area with our family 2)Very narrow corridors 3)At night we heard really disturbing sounds probably from the maintenance area 4)Breakfast was just average 5)Rooms are congested and dark. 6)The hotel doesn't have a three star quality

When we arrived in Alappuzha after long, seemingly endless, hours on the bus from Goa, we were very much looking forward to a nice clean hotel. After driving around the town in a tuc-tuc from one hotel to another, we finally were tipped off by the driver about the brand-new, about to be launched Arcadia Regency Hotel. How glad we were that we listened to the recommendation and went there. We found just what we were looking for, and MORE, and the stay, alghough just for one night, was a memorable one - a real OASIS of calm, cleanliness and the friendliest service we found among what can sometimes be a tiring travel destination.
The hotel was brand-new (December 2005), 4+ star Western standards, excellent restaurant, and service to write home about. The staff were newly trained and eager to please. In the restaurant, the waiters were trembling, just waiting to come around see if we needed anything else. The chef came out to greet us and to enqire how we enjoyed our meal. I am still dreaming of the fried crab we had there - what a delicacy!
If you are in Alappuzha, you must check this place out! It's unreal how good it is! A gem!
We had reservations on the house boat out of Alappuzha to Trivandrum otherwise we definitely would have stayed longer in the place! Enjoy and write back to let us know how you enjoyed it - we would be keen to know if it's as good as we remembered it..

I stayed only one night in this hotel and I was terribly disappointed. As temperatures sore in India in May, my boyfriend had been looking forward to this nice hotel with, as the pictures promised, a beautiful pool in which we could relax and cool down. As it turned out the pool looked rather dirty and nothing like the pictures online, and worst of all -for reasons we never really understood, the pool closed at 1pm! There were no sunbeds and cigarette buds littered the floor. Not a nice place to hang out - even before 1 pm. Furthermore, the hotel had promised wifi on its page as well - but that was available only in the reception, which is not acceptable for a hotel in this price range. I cannot recommend a stay here.

I checked in on 13/8/14- i had a shocked of my life time in this hotel. My husband and me had lunch in this hotel restaurant. Fish briyani which cost us INR 600 and Kerala Parotha which cost us INR 500!!!The parotha was made much earlier and they just heated the parotha.. which turn to be so hard by the time served on my plate!!. When i requested about the bill(too expensive) non of the staffs could answer me!! They just make dont know and pass the bill around!! Even in five star hotel i never pay so much for 2 dish!!The buffet breakfast is even worst... they serve cold and dry food!!Nothing taste good there.No aircond in dining hall. .. it was so warm and i could see the kitchen from dining hall. The room was clean but the blanket are so thin, Very uncomfortable mattress and pillow... will never go back there again... poor service and i had a bad experience....

Easily accessible , being bear to both the railway station and the KSRTC Bus station. We were offered a warm welcome by the staff, check in was smooth and fast. Room was nice, toilet was clean and tidy. The technical staff was very quick to fix the little complaints of tv and a/c. Menu offered diversityRoom service was really impressive, Never miss the Prawn masala from there!! it was so delicious. Sleeping conditions were perfect, no intruding noise from anywhere. Complementary breakfast was really good.
