Average place, not living upto Ramada name. The overall vibe is dark and dull. The rooms we got on the first floor were just ok. The lobby was not very clean. The water we got was spoilt. Looks like they served the water from bottle which was used for keeping flowers, stinking water. The reception was very slow. Generally speaking a very below par experience. Need to rethink their approach.
On 11.01.2023 we happened to be in Alleppey in Kerala. We took the backwater cruise on a houseboat arranged by Ramada Alleppey. On reaching the hotel from Cochin, we were welcomed by Sri Nigilraj, Head Sales & Smt Parvati, incharge of Travel Desk. The 3 hour cruise started at 1 pm. We were the only ones on board for the trip therefore it was a pretty exclusive one. There was an elaborate arrangement of lunch on board. We opted for a vegetarian lunch. Options for non-veg lunch also is available. It was a wonderful spread and the food was delicious. Smt Minu was a super host on board taking care of our every requirement. The trip lasted for 3 hours and we could experience the vastness of Vembanad Lake, the longest lake in India (length 96.5 km). After getting down at the hotel jetty, we were again served with tea/coffee & snacks. The hotel charges ₹2100 per person for the trip inclusive of a sumptuous lunch & evening tea/coffee and snacks. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I thank Smt Parvati & Smt Minu for all the support they extended to make our trip memorable. …
the stay at Ramada Alleppey was good. enjoyed the delightful christmas dinner. good break from our busy life. Good & efficient staff and helpful front office...Overall experience was good. Special thanks to Chef Augustin for the good food & BDM Sheetu for the arrangements. Anil & Akshay were of great assistance for the tour & at the restaurant.
Located very close to houseboats and busy shopping area. Room was nicely located and reasonable view of the lake and swimming pool. Facility had good recreation like pool, shuttle court, ping pong table and carom boards. Cafeteria staff was very pleasant and accommodated out special needs son with kind touch. Due to Christmas Eve unfortunately only good option we had was 2k buffet but it was great experience. Rooms are very modern with touch screen lights and other controls. Can do better with water pressure. Note that this place is frequently populated by your operators like Kesari and Veena. Everyone out there had a great smile except front desk manager (I guess Sandeep). Would stay again.
The so called Superior rooms were very bad - old rooms, creaky floors, ACs were not working properly, dim lighting, a bad smell, noisy room getting all the noise from the road or nearby area and very bad view from the room. Food in the restaurant was good, which was the only saving grace.
Very good 5 star hotel in Alleppey, very well maintained neat and clean everywhere , good room with all amenities and fresh linen ,Housekeeping staff is excellent and well trained ,amazing view from the room ,we are celebrated our honeymoon here very well decorated our room with flowers and all ,thanks to the team for the memorable stay experience.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything from the view, food, staff, and housekeeping was excellent. In particular, Jishnu R Nair from the Food and Beverages was an exceptionally good staff for customer service. He ensured we ordered the best food and enjoyed our stay there.
It is not a five start but a road side hotel in uts ambience, quality of decor , front staff service etc etc.. A overall a very poor experience.. The bathroom are dirty , curtains at room -- pic will tell better, no chair in room to sit , they do-not even give two room access card for a double occupancy.. Buffet option very linited only thing that make it is its location at centre of town.. The hotel was booked by my travel agent and i agreed looking to Ramada tag .. but it is not so ... Even if you land up at 2.15 om , ur room is not ready Very Sad experience
Booked this place due to the brand, but Ramada have really let themselves down with this offering due to: 1. Noisy room: the air-conditioning makes a rattling sound that will keep you up at night. If you do manage to sleep, be aware some rooms have compressors for the AC, and when this periodically kicks in with a loud continuous noise, you'll be sure to be woken up. A common problem in other rooms too by the looks of other reviews. You can hear noise from the corridor and neighbouring rooms, so clearly the sound insulation is shoddy, if it even exists.. 2. Malfunctioning electrics: some of the light switches do not work nor did my digital 'do not disturb sign'. To my shock, in the middle of the night, my room lights automatically came on and woke me up. I got up, switched off, fell asleep, and it happen again. Very weird - perhaps some cross wiring with adjacent room?. 3. Dirty rooms. Please see photos of mould growing on the shower curtain. Also, lift up the bed sheets, and you will see stains. Wall adjacent to my pillow also stained. 4. Outdated decor and poor quality furniture within the rooms. Upon checkout today, I brought all the above to the attention of the manager, Sandeep who appeared apathetic and largely trivialised the matters as 'only some rooms have these problems' - if management are aware of such issues, don't sell those rooms...I suspect the team's hands are tied due to lack of investment.... Other staff were courteous and helpful, specially shout out to Parvati and Meenu. This hotel needs to close down and be comprehensively refurbished before claiming to be of an intentional standard…
We stayed as a group of 8 at this place . It’s a beautiful location and front staff and restaurant staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The restaurant staff especially Jishnu was very helpful with the orders. Although the hotel itself is a bit outdated and restaurant quality could be better we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here .
