Our group of 4 just had three fabulous nights at Lemon dew beach house. Ranaz and Sanil were perfect hosts , they were very helpful in all aspects of our stay. The rooms we had were great ( upstairs beach view ) . Breakfasts were really tasty - the fruit platter had so many exotic fruits on it and the coffee was best we have had so far in Kerala.The environment was chilled and relaxed. Had a great back water boat trip arranged by Ranez which was exactly what we were after. The fresh grilled fish served on the beach just next to Lemon Dew was fabulous and is highly recommended - 'Fishermans flame' ( only open in the evenings).

Excellent stay at Lemon Dew Beach House thanks to the owner, Sanil. He’s adorable, very helpful, arranged anything we needed for us. Some rooms are nice and very affordable, other rooms are slightly more expensive with sea view but very worth the additional money. This makes it a flexible option for different types of budget. But everyone gets to enjoy the facilities, mainly the terrace facing the sea. It is very well maintained and ideally located, literally 10 steps away from the beach.

Good place for travelers. Shared rooftop where travelers chat. Excellent breakfasts. Most rooms are with air condition. I stayed at first in one that didn't have that, and it was very stuffy. Luckily, there were no mosquitos inside the room. The location is lovely. with all the hustle and bustle of the Alleppey backwater, this area is quite relaxed. The beach is endless and there are many good opportunities for eating (sea shore, just by the beach as well as the fisherman flame, which is on the sand and only serves amazing grilled fish). The people in the homestay were lovely, helpful with information and very friendly. The trip that they arranged to the backwaters was very nice. Try the Toddy! a very good low alcoholic drink from coconut. Ah, also, amazing sunsets, and if you go north on the beach, you'd encounter lots of fisherman and fish auctions around dawn.

This is a very nice place to stay near Allepey Beach. The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful, open and honest with a real commitment to making sure you enjoy your stay. We had two of the air conditioned rooms on the first floor - clean and cosy. The food is very good - expect large portions of tasty goodness prepared from fresh. The omelette was a particular favourite for us. Nearby you will find the Catamaren Cafe - also very lovely!

This stay was beautiful, it has a beach view in the top rooms. Beach is so close to the house that you won't have to even carry your towels. Sunil and Jenson are lovely humans, they take care of you, make sure you have food. The place also has an open shower on the ground floor and the roof has recently been painted by a house member. I love that I can call this place mine.

Had a great time at the Lemon Dew. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The property is set right across the beach with clear waters you can take a dip in. We went sunrise kayaking in the back waters of Allapy, that was organised by the host and that was a memorable experience too! Would definitely recommend the Lemon Dew for a perfect weekend getaway or longer.

The Lemon Dew Beach House is a gem! The rooms are airy (we had a first floor room with A/C) and the facilities are functional. However, the staff were helpful and attentive, with good advice and tour bookings. As you would expect from the name (but isn't always the case), the Beach House is right next to the beach enabling frequent trips to the beach before retreating to the shade on the terrace. Another gem is the food - the breakfast was incredible and set you up for the day!

Stayed here initially for 5 weeks from the middle of February. However, the Coronavirus lockdown meant I stayed for 8 weeks in total.
Very lucky to have been staying in such a great place. Lemon Dew is a new property with 6 rooms, a lovely garden and terrace area and is run by Sanil and Jensen. It is located overlooking the beach which you can access over a stone wall at the end of the garden. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds and shower and toilet facilities. They are kept very clean, and the whole property is very well cared for. The guys are great and so kind. They help you with anything you need, in lockdown they cooked some excellent food and local dishes. They really made you feel so welcome and it was like your own home. Had a wonderful time, thanks guys

We arrived from Fort Cochin to this place because we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and we ended up booking a room for one night. The room was very clean, the bed a little bit small for two and the fan was too strong so I would recommend to book instead the room upstairs with AC for more confort. The terrace has a very nice and peaceful view on the sea. Babu made us a very nice breakfast and dinner! He is a great cook! Great location to relax and enjoy the sea

This is a gorgeous place - the building is newly built and the owner has done such a nice job of adding character and interesting touches everywhere. It’s right on the beach and if you have an upstairs room you can see right out across the ocean and dolphin spot from outside your room. The atmosphere is laid back and peaceful and staff are kind and helpful. Really recommended!
