I stayed 2 nights in this fantastic guest house just a few minutes away from the center of Alleppey.
Ive booked the main room at the Heritage house, nicely decorated, super comfy huge bed and nice linen. The room was very clean and it had a good size bathroom with hot water and toiletries.
The staff is extremely nice and helpful, specially the manager John that has helped me with booking auto rickshaws through out my stay and cater everything i needed.
The breakfast is delicious. The area where the guest house’s located is calm and green. Way nicer than staying in town. Good value for your money!

We had 3 nights here as a base for exploring the backwaters. Lovely, communicative host. He organised a shikara for us at a fair price and gave us some good sightseeing tips.
The room was cute and comfortable. Plenty of space, and a handy ‘pantry’ with crockery/cutlery. For dinner, we used the delivery from a local restaurant which was recommended. It was perfect - excellent food at a good price, and it meant we could relax each evening.
Awesome sunsets from the hammocks/relax area at the back of the property.
Breakfast was modest - no problem but maybe a bit of room for improvement.
Only downside was the noise from the other rooms on on second night. It was a big group and they made a din. Not the host’s fault - he had to get up and ask them to shut up in the early hours.

The place is pretty interesting with rich wooden cottages. Kerala's traditional structure and art appears at every nook and corner. The premium rooms are just awesome for even an extended stay.
The place doesn't have a restaurant but is located near good restaurants at walkable distances. The property needs more staff and maintenance, a little difficult for extended stays, but a definite choice for a one or two nights' stay.

A number of rooms run by a family. If you want to see the best hospitality, you are in the right spot. Owner’s family is so friendly, accommodating and interactive. The outdoor ambience is great with a beautiful lawn and things related to Kerala culture... but that’s it ... nothing else to say positive about... rooms need better maintenance and face lift. Stained walls and flooring, if you need hot water in the night - then you have to inform them earlier... apart from the room - no other facilities are round the clock and no shops nearby... other than that location is good - close to the town and beach. Five star for the hospitality... but the rest is just average ....
