I visited the property yesterday and the experience was really good. The location is the first attraction. We stayed in the Premium lake view room with the most serene view of the lake. We could spend hours just on the balcony alone! The room was clean and well maintained. We used the pool in the evening and got to see the sunset from the pool which was a super cool experience. The property is in a very pristine condition with beautiful walkways. We were really impressed with the hospitality of the team there. The Resort Manager, the Receptionists, the room boys, the security... everyone was quite friendly and accommodating. The extent they all go to help us out is praiseworthy. To sum up, we enjoyed every bit of our stay there and would visit again, for sure.

Beautiful property and uniquely placed with a view such close to the backwaters of Kainakiri. What stood out for us was the lovely treatment, proactive care and lip smacking fresh sea food delicacies organised for us at the room. A very pleasant and courteous staff orchestrated by Arun was such a positive note for the entire stay! Manesh at front desk took extra care for a smooth checkin and checkout experience, working in tandem with Arun. Ashwin, the young boy who came in for kayaking ensured such a safe and fun experience in the water! We thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend to everyone - don’t miss this. Then came Rajeev with his Shikkara boat and the way Aswin and Rajeev engaged made a difference and helped us to understand the local canals, ending of Pamba river nearby and to experience the way of life of local people. Recommend these rides to know the people and culture better.…

A lovely hotel, set in a beautiful location, with views nd peaceful , The setting is very relaxing. All the hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. We stayed in the resort for just one night and 2 days. It is by far the best resort experience in Kerala. The rooms are clean and the back water views from the resort are amazing. Staff is very friendly with timely service. We booked two rooms there and we had to call the staff six times which they attended to without any delay or irritation. I wish we would have stayed longer. I will definitely come back here.

The most disgusting hotel in the world I would say. Terrible rooms, terrible service. Rooms ceiling and walls were coming down. No Tata Sky recharges and then there is no resolution. Wi-Fi doesn't work and during our stay of less than 24 hours, the electricity went off 7 times. They don't allow outside food so you don't have any option but to order from their stinky restaurant as there's nothing around. Its very far from the city too. We checked out earlier than the scheduled date and we will never ever recommend this stressful experience to anyone.

I guess the guy at reception (not sure of the name) should be fired for the good of resort. PROS 1. Resort is in good location. 2. Property is clean. CONS 1. Receptionist is not customers friendly. 2. Not all the rooms have best view like shown in pictures and the best ones will be given to people who speak local language. 3. No early check ins. I reached early around 11 AM since my wife was sick and they dint let us check in until 2 PM. Had to wait for 3 hours and staff is least bothered about customers health. 4. Food is not great but expensive. Not worth it for the money we paid. Disappointed!!!

Paloma Backwater Resort should be considered as the best place to stay during Alleppey Visit. Resort is surrounded by backwater (Lake) and the staff of resort are very supportive, specifically Mr.Manesh. Further, the swimming pool is neat and clean and can be used by persons who don't know swimming. Rooms are spacious as well as neat and clean. Must avail breakfast facility. Overall, a very nice and comfortable place to stay when you visit Alleppey.

Paloma backwater resort, one of the gem property in Allepey. Had third visit and stay at Paloma.. why again and again Paloma... The interesting fact is that, you dnt want to go for a houseboat because the balcony provided in Paloma will give you the best like your are siting in houseboat deck. The hospitality and food is good and especially the pool. My kid enjoyed the pool.. thanks team Paloma for the support. Bye until we meet again. Thanks Am the traveller

PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC. DONT GO HERE JUST LOOKING AT THE LOCATION. The only good thing is the location. Have had the worst experience ever in this category of room. The service is worst than govt. banks There’s also huge problems of mosquito. The restaurant is next to non working. After I checked in I was immediately asked to place my dinner order. I checked in at 6:30pm and was asked to place my dinner order by 7pm. Also after that I received my order late. Apparently they make everything fresh so they take more than 1hr to prepare the order Even phulka needs to be ordered 30min before. WOW. There’s only 1 person taking order and the same person is serving dinner for the entire restaurant. And this is not at the time of COVID but 2 yrs after that. They don’t even have hand towels in room. The TV seems to be not working. AC remote had better issues Everything that can go wrong with the service will go wrong. The staff too seems to have little clue of what’s going on. Pathways are not lit properly. ALSO NEVER BOOK ROOM NO 102/101 They will not give you lake view even though you’ll be charged for the lake view rooms. ALSO it is located 3kms inside the main road and the road is very narrow for an INNOVA. Absolutely not expected.…

Visiting Kerala one cannot miss visiting Paloma back water resort. It’s a wonderful scenic location with extraordinary sevice especially Mr Arun the manager of the resort who took care of my parents in an emergency has no words to express. I’m very much thankful to Mr Arun for his heart touching sevices 🙏.
