After Varkala we found Alleppey a disappointment. The town does not have much going for it except ATMs and access to the Backwaters. The wonderful beach is marred by too much trash. So the Beach Garden right on the beach but in its own secure grounds was a delighted and we had a room overlooking the beach and enjoyed the sunsets. Daniela's breakfast pancakes were a treat and Jackson was a real help too. The walk along the beach to Dreamers the local eatery was easy and we enjoyed some very good meals ( with most of the guests being from the Beach Garden.) Not sure there was much competition! Worth noting they did good cocktails and served alcohol.

We have only been at this fantastic place for one hour and we're already amazed. The beach is beautiful, owner and staff so welcoming and warm. The view from the room over the beach is stunning. They served us tea and one of the best lassies we have hat on the trip. This place is really worth a visit!

We enjoyed a relaxing couple of days hosted by Daniela. The breakfasts were excellent, the beach was beautiful and almost desserted. Jackson was very helpful and very informative, helping us find our way to good places to eat and onward to our backwaters trip. Would definitely return!

Both my friend and I had a crush on Daniela’s hotel. First we had a warm welcome by Daniela and her hotel manager. The place is very charming with plants and very nice individuals traditional houses. The beach is right at the end of the property. Daniela arranged canoe and tuk tuk for us which was very appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and we liked having Daniela’s dog around. We highly recommend Daniela’s hotel. (The place is better in real than on Daniela’s pictures)

We were a bit apprehensive at first, after having been spoilt in Sri Lanka for the past two weeks, the room was lovely but there was no fridge and no hairdryer or tea & coffee facilities. No need to worry after the first day Daniela anticipated all of our needs and the next thing you know we are in heaven & enjoying every moment of our 6 night stay. Little things like that made all the difference to us and we truly appreciated it. Daniela, Rajith & Jackson made us feel like we were old friends and welcomed us into their world. Nothing was too much trouble. Daniela arranged and booked a lovely houseboat for us (at a great rate) and any time we wanted a a Rickshaw all we had to do was ask. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you will be so pleased you did. It was so sad when we had to say goodbye & leave this little bit of heaven. Thank you Daniela, Rajith & Jackson you are stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
