The staff is very confused all the time. They behaved strange as i booked the room from Agoda. They were not at all warm and helpful. I asked the helpdesk to help plan the day, she just told me out of the book answers and did not show interest in further planning. The Sales manager called me on my last day of vacation to call Agoda and work on releasing my payment as they had some backend issue with the vendor. The staff is very unprofessional and not at all worth the rents they are charging. The room was leaking everytime in rained. I booked lake view king bed room. My shoes and suitcase in the room got wet when i was out exploring the city. Food lacked quality and taste. Every member in restaurant was so confused, asking for sugar and tissue became a huge task as noone understood simple english. A Big No to this property in future. The only decent thing was the view from the room and property was spacious enough for walks. Everything else was horrible. one of the worst experiences one can have on a vacation.…

Hotel's Favourite
We revisited Punnamada Resort after a long break and it felt like coming home. The gardens and location are beautiful, the rooms comfortable and well appointed. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. We had wonderful open air yoga classes with an excellent yoga master, on a floating pontoon on the lake or under the shade of a tree. A great place to relax and very friendly service.

It was really a fantastic experience staying here, I am not good at reviews, still I want to help other people, so that they will not miss out this sacred space. The staff team is excellent, never heard a "no" from them. Ambience greatest ever lake view I have seen in my entire life time. Food is also good and what more do you need to enjoy?

The resort is Just Awesome, no words to explain their hospitality, the ambience and view from the room is un comparable with any of the Resorts in the world ( I am a frequent traveler almost visited 52 countries). Food is excellent & they too have good wines to increase your palate . Keep up the Team work and we are going to be back in next monsoon with more of our Friends and family.

Excellent stay. The resort combines tradition with luxury. The rooms are set with all wooden furnishing with a lot of attention to detail. The service by the staff was excellent too. Would definitely come back for more. The lake view rooms are pretty awesome :)

The Waterfront Restaurant in Alappuzha offers a captivating dining experience that perfectly complements the serene beauty of Kerala's backwaters. It was a fantastic stay here. Each and every minutes of this resort is designed a traditional Kerala style. Location is mind blowing, all you have to do is relax and gaze at the punnamda lake, while we enjoy the food from the restaurant.
