Really enjoyed this lodge, the food was excellent. Service was very attentive. Greeted at the reception with juice and friendly smile. Rooms were roomy and well equipped. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tent experience in the bush.

My wife and I spent one night at this lodge last week in connection with visiting Tarangire National Park. We were the only guests (as it was still off-season, although we had good weather all the time and enjoyed a fresh and green scenery everywhere). We were met with juice and hot towels at the entrance and received VIP-treatment both...

We are an elderly couple who stayed at Roika Tented Lodge for 1 nigtht together with our friends in February 2013. It was the last night of our safari and we had stayed at several big hotels at Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater and Serengeti. So this was our first experience with a tented lodge. We were a bit anxious because...

We stayed here last year in Feb 2012. The rooms are very clean and very big (we had two double beds in one room) and staff are extremely friendly. Located close to the entry of Tarangire, you don't have far to travel to get to the park. Would really recommend this tented lodge :)

Located right in the bushes of the Tarangire National Park, the camp provides an experience of living it out in the bushes with only the tent separating you and the vast wildlife of the bushes. Close encounters with elephants, kudus and the occasional roar of the lions at night is an adventurous way of spending your night in the jungle....

Staying at Roika tented lodge is a perfect mix between the safari spirit and the luxury of eating and sleeping well in between the adventures. Nicely situated just outside Tarangire National Park, lots of opportunities to see wildlife real close. They also came very close to the camp, which really added to the experience. The tents were well kept, nicely...

After having stayed in a couple of nice tented camps during our safari we were really impressed by this one. The tent was spacious and well maintained, the bed comfortable, the washroom clean and almost a work of art because of the wood carved bed. Maasai guards accompany you to and from the dining area to your tent (nice touch)....

Quick "in & out" arrived for 1 night only, before final day on Safari in Tarangire. Owned & run by the local Maasai, which felt good. Facilities are v. good, restaurant & bar providing 4* food and service, considering location. This is a good option as Tarangire provides excellent game viewing! The Lodge is well enclosed by trees and bush,...

Tends ara beautiful and they're clean. Food is acceptable, but tipical from the region although with a Tanzanian flavour. It was suposed to be one of the best Massai Resort, but it was only like the other. Other Tends we're more authentic and special for us in our trip to Tanzania. We're not lucky having the more far away tend...

This was our last stop on an 8 day safari, and this place didn't live up to the others by far. The room we were given was very far from the entry, even though I'm fairly certain it was just us... The staff didn't help us prepare out tents for the night so we had to climb on the side...
