Tarangire is a great place to start your Tanzania Safari. The Mawe Ninga camp exceeded all expectations we had for a tented camp. 1) The food was fantastic - delicious four course meals 2) The tents were clean and had running water 3) The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every evening the local Masaai lit a nice bonfire as...

This is a truly magical place. Sitting round the firepit as the sun goes down, shooting the breeze with other visitors or cracking jokes with the Masai is one hell of a way to end the day. You feel in the thick of it. The staff are so nice, and absolutely genuine. Our tent had a pet hyrax that I...

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-September 2014. This is a very nice, unique experience in a tented camp. The tents are large semi-permanent tents that are each positioned on individual wooden terraces. Inside, the tents are very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is running water (heated by solar power so it was recommended to shower in the evening as...

WOW! Mawe Ninga is such an amazing place! This was our first real night on safari, and we had little to no idea what to expect, so when we were coming up the almost impassable dirt road to this hidden gem in Tarangire, we started to feel a bit apprehensive. But the second we stepped out of our vehicle we...

We visited the Tarangire National Park in Octobre 2014 and we had a wonderful time and felt very welcome at the Mawe Ninga Tented Camp. We saw a lot of animals and we really enjoyed the landscape. The lodge itself is very nicely located and offers an amazing view.

We stayed for two nights as part of an organised safari. On arrival we were greeted by felix with soft drinks and freshening face cloths who proceeded to explain how the camp works and arranged for our bags to be taken to our tent. The tent was very spacious (huge bed, tables, sofa, dresser, bag stands, balcony, separate shower, toilet...

First night in Tanzania and we were staying at Mawe Ninga Camp... The view is unbelievable (very beautiful sunset !), the tents are more than comfortable, the food was great, the staff is very nice and the fireplace adds some charm to all that. We spent two nights there and would have wanted more ! I advise everybody to spend...

We stayed for two nights at Mawe Ninga and really enjoyed out stay. The team are friendly and welcoming, the tents are clean and although basic provide everything you need. The food was of a good standard and on a par with all the other camps we stayed in, even the more expensive ones. The best thing about this camp...

Imagine laying on pillows spread about the top of a kopje and looking up at an amazingly brilliant night sky. Imagine a cool bar sandwiched between two huge rock outcroppings with a thatched roof overhead. Imagine clean, comfortable tents on stilts spread about on huge boulders. Imagine resting in this magical place at night and driving less than an hour...

We stayed 2 nights here while on safari. This was our first night and to say we were blown away by this place is an understatement. Incredible setup they've got here. Staying as a group of 3 mates we did feel a little out of place as its probably more setup for couples but we had a great time anyway....
