I knew I would fall in love with Ndali Lodge the minute I walked through the archway covered with morning glories. The buildings are situated on the ridge straddling two crater lakes. A walk around the lake before dinner was nice and relaxing. The home made potato crisps with cocktail were to die for! Every view from the lodge was...

We were at Ndali in order to do the chimp trekking and it was a terrific place. Our cottage was very nice with a fantastic view of the mountains, great porch. We enjoyed the set menu very much, excellent soups and good basic food. The outside deck area overlooking the lake made for a terrific spot for a drink before...

This is a stunning location with views over two crater lakes, and an easy walk around one of the lakes. The rooms and the main buildings are lovely. The food was very reminiscent of a past age (roast beef and roast potatoes?) and my meat was not good. Overall the staff and service were good but there was a lack...

This was the final 4 night stop in our 3 week Uganda holiday. Fabulous lodge, super owners Aubrey & Claire. The lodge was superbly appointed with huge bed, mosquito nets, en suite inc. bath & shower. The food was wonderful with breakfast & lunch taken on the terrace overlooking crater lake. Evening meal by candle light in the main dining...

Very good place, has a natural feeling with home style meals, super relaxed environment and the service and attitude excellent. Rooms are really nice, less modern but feel great. the best part is the companion dogs, Alfombra was an amazing little puppy.

This hotel is very unique. The owners/hosts are always available and treat you like guests in their home. They seem like very caring and genuine people and took good care of us. Our tour company forget to forward our chimp trekking permits to them, but our host, Aubrey, made some calls and ensured we would still be able to get...

I agree with all the other excellent reviews of this lodge. The thing that I found a bit quirky was that my room (#5) seemed to designed for giants! The bed was very high to climb into, and the built-in night stand was a long arm's stretch from the bed. A small step stool would have come in handy. It...

I was in Uganda for work. My colleague was staying with researchers inside Kibale National Park taking cold showers and using a slit floor toilet. I was staying down the road at the Primate Lodge. On our last full day here we had lunch at this place upon the recommendation of one of the scientists. It was worth the 20...

This place is unique lodge with incredible views and outstanding hospitality. The owner makes you feel extremely welcome and the rooms are fabulous. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of trekking the chimps, complete with pool side snacks and drinks.

Good place to nest while visiting Kibale National Park to trek chimps. Whether you are watching the sun rise or set, walking around Crater lake, or looking at flowers, birds, or a multicolored lizard, it is all part of the experience. Food was great and staff lovely. A nice addition is boot and gator cleaning when you come back from...
