Auberge Baddou stands as a welcome break, after passing through Morocco's magnificent Todra Gorge to arrive in the remote, Amizhir ("Berber") village of Tamtattouchte. While simple and rustic, as befits a way station for the hikers exploring this fascinating region, the Auberge provides all the necessary comforts: clean, comfortable rooms, excellent food, a warm and helpful staff, and even a...

We were the only ones when we arrived and our eye fell on the small house on the upstairs terrace. What a view ! We were immediately charmed by the creativity of this place. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our appartment even though the nights were cold. A small heater and extra bankets were given to us. The...

Tamtattouchte is a magical place surrounded by mountains full of stunningly beautiful hiking trails and beautiful cycling routes through Berber villages. Hotel Baddhou is the place to stay to enjoy this area for a few days. The rooms are large and clean and there is a beautiful pool. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and kind. Owner...

Ahmed is really trying hard to make this place perfect and he is getting pretty close. Rooms are large, comfortable, central heating and air con. Even a hair dryer. Small swimming pool for the kids. Our only problem was the hot water, which was not! But since Ahmed had obviously invested heavily in the heating and water system (heating was...

I stayed in Auberge Baddou a couple of years ago and enjoyed the experience. This trip I rode straight past (on a motorbike) as I was headed further south, but the Todra river was well and truly flooded and I had to turn back and wait for 24 hours for the waters to drop. But I had a great time,...

I have spent one night at this hotel on my trip from Rich via Imilchil to Todra Gorge. It is a really nice small hotel with nice rooms and surroundings. I just had some bad luck with the weather, it was quite cold and windy, and the hotel does not have AC so it was a bit cold in the...

I was there with my girl for one day (short treacking ) and night. The rooms are clean and safe and the staff are very nice. They had prepared for us a small concert after a great dinner. Despite that this period of time is not the most appropriate for travel in the Atlas mountain, we had normal clima in...
