We decided to spend four nights here, three on the way to the dunes and one on the way up to Fes on the way back. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff are all so warm and welcoming. We wandered the Oasis and were greeted with a friendly 'Bonjour' by every passing child. We milked the cow,...

My husband and I just spent one night at the Maison d'Hôtes Sahara and we LOVED it! It is located by a breathtakingly beautiful oasis. The room was spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, all organic food sourced by the hosts. We had breakfast on the lovely terrace. The hosts were really wonderful! We recommend you ask...

This place is a true heaven! It is not the beauty of the house, the comfort the rooms, the amazing nature and birdsongs surrounding this place that I appreciated the most though. It was those beautiful, amazing and welcoming women working there. They are making carpets in the hall, they are preparing food, they are harvesting fruits and veggies from...

The proud and talented Berber women who run this hotel were an inspiration Thank you for letting me help with the morning chores, it was hard work but one of the best experiences I had in Morocco! We stayed here while driving from Merzouga - fes. And we were so happy to find the place. Real morocco and real history....

We were so grateful that our agents suggested this place for us to stay. Beautiful location on the edge of the Ziz Oasis between Errachidia and Erfoud. Rooms were spacious, the evening meal was the best that we had on this visit to Morocco. The family who run the hotel were tremendous and attended to our every need. We would...

We were the only guests at the hotel for our one night. Our room was very large -- it was a family room, with full sized single beds for the kids and a queen for us -- and it was tastefully decorated. They prepared a delicious meal in thirty minutes for us; the various salad samplings being outstanding, and the...

Off the beaten path in an oasis, it was a memorable stay. The view over the palm trees and farms was incredible and the drive in and out was through the real Morocco without tourists and medinas. If you go for a walk you'll probably get surrounded by children. Our host was wonderful and we enjoyed our visit. We had...

Set on a small hill overlooking the oasis It has a columned reception area with a lovely fountain, tiled floor and traditional carpets. From there we could walk...

We decided to stay here to shorten our long drive down from Fez as we headed towards a camel trek in Merzouga. What a great decision. We were a little unsure as we drove down a one lane road past mud brick houses, donkey carts and villagers. But Said greeted us with perfect English and Khira who runs the hotel,...

It took us sometime to find the place, though looking back, the directions are accurate. It really is close to the Bleue Source de Meski, blue springs south of Er-Rachidia proper. Kind of out in nowhere. Located in a valley, a true oasis, life turned different. Not the normal tourist place, I'm sure we never saw a tourist. The hotel...
