If one is in need of pampering, this is definitely not the place to go to. The establishment is in desperate need of an overhaul of the furnishings. It is clean though. It is ideal for the weary traveller en route to a better destination, which is what happened to us on the way to Watamu. The sound of the...

The hotel offers all you could want in a "resort type" location. The rooms are clean, the water works and best of all the price was the least expensive of all the places we stayed in Kenya. The service is excellent. The breakfast is good. The overall presentation is professional which you would expect at a much more expensive hotel....

While doing research in Kilifi, I stayed at Dhows for three weeks. The room and en suite were kept very clean and the staff was very friendly. The manager made me feel very welcome and was approachable if I had any major concerns. There wasn't great internet coverage and the power went out a few times during my lengthy stay,...

I stayed here for three nights and got real value for money. The rooms are modest but clean and the breakfast was served on time. For only Ksh.1200 B&B it is real value for money! Suitable for travellers on transit who just need a day or two to relax and check out the beautiful beaches of Kilifi!

Stayed for a night in this small African hotel. Would definitely recommend the place for those travellers who need cheap stay in a clean place close to the beach. There is no hot water but the cold one is not really cold :). Beds are protected with mosquito net; ventilator works well. Dhows Inn is located across the street from...

We stayed at the Dhows Inn for ten days. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the gardens beautiful with lots of birds of paradise, the food of a consistently good standard, and the rooms were excellent with a low price. I would definitely recommend a visit to the picturesque town of Kilifi, it has great beaches, birds and fish,...
