On the positive side the desk clerk was very friendly, there was ample parking and the pools were nice. On the opposite side: The two bedroom unit we booked was run down, dated and dirty. Ugh. Old, dried food under sofa bed. Cobwebs under stove light. Mattreses horribly uncomfortable. WiFi unpredictable which made it impossible to research visit spots. Carpets...

Yeppers, we stayed in a studio loft this time. Wonderful view of downtown Gatlinburg and after the parade and fireworks we could see more fireworks going off all over the valley. Do yourself a favor and stay at The Summit. The roads are hills! But it's worth the drive.

I'll admit I questioned my husband and his sanity when he booked our room for a quick get away, but it ended up being a great choice. The drive up the side of the mountain was absolutely, ridiculously, scary!! Thankfully the guy at check-in gave us an alternate route (and it had actual lines on the road) that would allow...

The road up the mountain to The Summit is a bit scary if you are not used to the hair pin turns on these steep mountains. It is SO worth the views once you get the summit of the mountain. Our building faced the town of Gatlinburg and we could also watch the breath-taking beautiful sunrise in the morning. We...

We loved the location with view of the mountains. Nice condo, well maintained, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Don't stay here, though, if you have problems with curvy mountain roads. We were up and down a lot and was kind of scary in the dark. Worth it to us, but be aware!

Road up to condo is hair raising the first time or two but it gets easier the more times you do it, actually saw a huge black bear right next to condo. a couple of pizza places deliver to condo. condo was two bedroom/ two bath on first level, unit 7105. condo has more than enough room for 5-7 people....

It took us a while to get up the mountain to this location but it was worth it once we got there!! The condo, 8106, was great! Clean, comfortable and all with a great view!! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well!! We have been home for almost a week now and we already miss Gatlinburg but the...

Gatlinburg was a good meeting place for two of our kids and four of our grandkids. I searched condos to rent and was looking for something that may be a little less money than some of the rest. The Summit offered a good deal so I booked it. If you don't care about staying at an older resort that really...

Stayed a couple of Nights. Great Condo with an amazing view! We had a studio with a kitchenette and cute little fireplace that was nice. The pool was a little small but has 2 hot tubs...pool area was very clean. It was very quiet which is really important after a hard day of playing in the Smokies. Relaxing atmosphere.

The stay here was nice. First day I was sick bc we were so high into the mountains. The man at check in was not happy bc we asked him to change our bedding. The sheets and comforter were dirty. Once changed and after his attitude about doing it we didn't feel comfortable so we went to Walmart and purchased...
