Detailed Reviews
So....Check in was wonderful, less than five minutes and no worrying about tows here. Park as long as you like regardless of check in or out. Motel is badly in need of up keep and not somewhere you'd choose to stay for more than a day or two, but that's why prices are cheap. It has a real roadside Motel vibe. They use your phone number as the key code for your room, which I loved, however ours didn't work later that evening when we returned and were locked out of our room. They had to let us in with key, but issue was fixed by morning. They do have a basic free breakfast but we ate at the Log Cabin Pancake House next door. Usually I would give this place a 2 star rating, but the woman who checked us in was extremely pleasant (I believe she was the owner or her family runs it), the room we were in was super clean (minus the stained tub), wifi wide open, no passwords, 2 minute walk to downtown, comfortable beds, and extremely quiet. We slept great all through the night and didn't hear another person.

Location was great. Walked to downtown Gatlinburg. Pancake house next door is a great breakfast place. The front desk attendant is very pleasant. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. We would stay again for a couple nights stay and choose to spend the money saved on our room for other things. Free parking is great also since we stayed in prime Leaf season and downtown parking is $20 a day.

Location was good. The place was old but reasonably clean. Although it was just a one story place the sounds of stomping from surrounding rooms was very loud. We stayed three nights and only got decent sleep on the third night because of all the noise on the first two. And the pool had been filled in.

The Motel is older but that is okay. The room was clean. The lady at the counter was very polite and nice. It was a low cost Motel because we want to spend more time doing activities in town instead of staying in the room. There are no soda machines but they do have an ice machine. They offer breakfast but we never made it to their breakfast. They did have a pool but have filled it in. It would be nice if they could take up the pool area and add parking or they could put picnic tables where the pool was so that visitors could have somewhere to sit and enjoy being outside. The Motel is in walking distance to the Arcade at the spacennedle and walkng distance tot he original log cabin pancake house and bones bbq..

This was a great motel last year. It appears they have done nothing to keep up the place. The electrical was shot in room 103 the GFI plug would not stay set and the plug by the bed was so loose I had to hold my wife's hairdryer plug in place while she used it. The light in the bathroom/shower area had to be switched on and off several times to get it to come on. The front door weather strip was so worn you could see daylight under and around the door. This would not have been so bad if the heat halfway worked. The towels and wash cloths looked dirty so we went to Wal-Mart and bought some. The TV does not get any locals stations if you like football some of it comes on CBS. I ended up watching the SEC championship game on my phone. Do yourself a favor and move along this one is a bad stay. Not so bad at the weekday price of $66 per night but then they jack it up to $188 for the weekend. Those are the cons the pros are the mini fridge worked great and it did have a bed...

It’s on the Trolley route, close to all the great tourist attractions. During the off-season, there’s no one in the lobby and breakfast isn’t really there. You are directed to another nearby hotel, their sister hotel to have breakfast. That was kind of inconvenient for me so I just did breakfast on my own. Other than that it was all I needed for my short stay. Cindy at front desk was super nice and helpful. Even though there was no one at the lobby, there was a texter that would answer my questions. All good.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures. We were given a different room than we were supposed to have as well. They are filthy, with black mold in the shower/tub and the tub jets. The chair was stained and disgusting, as well as the carpet. Spider webs and dust and crumbs were everywhere and the drawers had a musty smell. Not to mention the microwave was dirty and had a burn mark in it. We asked for a different room and they said they were sold out , that they would refund us, and they didn't. I called the place we booked through to check on that and now they are telling them a different story.

Nice place to stay walking distance to attractions, free parking, decent wifi, clean rooms, hard beds, good hot showers with good pressure and affordable rates. The only downfall is one of the pictures on-line show coffee and krispy-kream donuts in the lobby but this motel only serves coffee in the lobby in the mornings but the Log cabin restaurant is right next door and they serve the best breakfast in Gatlinburg. Motel is surrounded by area churches for Sunday services and in a safe neighborhood. Motel staff is awesome, two daughters aiming to please, excellent concierge's very knowledge with area attractions and great places to eat and explore.

Great place to stay at an affordable price especially in peak season. Walking distance to everything. Also breakfast spot right beside it. It’s not the Marriott or anything fancy but will be for sure our place to stay here we didn’t even use our car on the entire stay.

Stayed here our first night in Tennessee. The motel is older and dated but the room was fine. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The price wasn’t bad either. The check in girl was so nice and informative about things to do. There are bears here and we had one visit the garbage cans at 4 am. The people who stay there are extremely nice and helpful. We had a nice night here. There is no pool here.
