we were a group of 15-20 that stayed at the inn. the service was impeccable, helpful and gracious. beautiful views and quiet location very close to the arts & crafts area of Gatlinburg and minutes away by car to the center of town and all its offerings. Rooms whether in the inn or in a cottage or one of the...

Oh, how I love this place! I can't tell you how wonderful it is one must experience for oneself. I'm making it our tradition to go to this wonderful place once a year. Gourmet breakfast and gourmet dinners! What's not to love. The owners are the best!

We arrived at the Inn the day before Thanksgiving. Waiting for us were sack lunches because the dining room was not closed in preparation for the Thanksgiving dinner which was a buffet with more choices than I can remember - all delicious. Inside that bag was the most delicious brownie I have ever had. Lee, the innkeeper, met us when...

My wife and I have been visiting the BuckHorn Inn for 25 years. This little piece of Smoky Mountain heaven is one of the best kept secrets in Gatlinburg. If you want a place that is so comfortable, quiet and relaxing that you never want to leave, check this place out. The breakfast served each morning is awesome!, the service...

The title says it all. They were informed we are a same-sex couple at reservation so l could ask point-blank if that was a problem. I got re-assurance it was not. The greeting at check-in was friendly and nice and that was the last smile we got. The cottage was very much like the picture, but that did not show...

I am so sorry that you did not find out staff consistently friendly and helpful to you and that you found the breakfast and dinner service to be too fast. I have reminded our staff to take a more leisurely approach to service in future. We are also so sorry that you did not enjoy the food and I want...

Ok, first let me say we enjoy a rustic stay HOWEVER not when we when expect what the website says it has only to find out it's what they did NOT say that counts. Rooms were TINY and not at all like the pictures on the website (which obviously were taken years ago with special lens). Old, worn, low ceilings,...

Dear MBA, I am so sorry you did not enjoy the accommodations at Buckhorn. While the main building has undergone many renovations and updates since 1938, we strive to balance the charm of staying in an historic room with the convenience our guests expect. Many guests find the traditional rooms to be very appealing--I am sorry that you did not....

Hidden gem in Gatlinburg that offers a great place to stay at a reasonable price, nice people, a view of Mt Leconte and great food if you choose to eat there. We've been there over a dozen times and will continue to go back.

My husband and I visited the Buckhorn Inn for our anniversary again this year. It was our sixth visit and as usual, it was the loveliest of stays. We love our accommodations (Lindsay House) and the food was amazing as always. The chefs at Buckhorn always impress us and the staff there is like family, taking such good care of...

Charming and much attention given to comforting details. The nostalgic 'old time' cabins added to the welcome and to the overall experience. Great job! May we suggest one improvement to make it 100%complete. In cabin #5 the spotlights shine right into the bedroom way into the night which for us after two days of road travel impacted our nights rest....

We stayed at the Buckhorn recently for four nights. We rented cottage #4. We could not have been more delighted and really hated our stay was not longer. If it's a peaceful retreat you are looking for, away from the overly commercialized Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg, this is the perfect place. A wonderful breakfast is included with every room...
