This hotel was situated right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. It was perfect walking distance for meals and shopping and the entrance to the National Park was only 3 miles away. We were very pleased with the service that we received from Dustin! He was super friendly and he offered us early check-in when we arrived ahead of schedule. Unfortunately we didn’t see Dustin again after the first day. Angie wasn’t very friendly and seemed annoyed when we asked her for extra garbage bags, since the room service doesn’t come daily to clean. We will definitely be back due to the location, nice room, good food and some friendly staff!

While our state is starting to reopen from the pandemic, I decided to get my family out of the house safely. We stayed here and had a pleasant experience! I felt very safe. The walk to the strip was short and pleasant. Hotel is super clean, and every staff member was super helpful! Maintenance workers were out sanitizing in the courtyard so we can still enjoy the amenities! The views are the best in the area!!!

We did a Smokey Mountains trip, 1 adult, a teen and 2 school aged kids. I have mobility issues and can’t walk for very long so we needed a hotel very close to the action. This Marriott Courtyard is right at the end of the main strip, so you can walk just down the street and be walking right onto Parkway where all of the shops, restaurants and attractions are.
The hotel parking lot is right in front of the entrance with handicap spots just a few feet from the door.
Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. There was a microwave and refrigerator, closet. Bathroom was large and the kids loved the view of the Space Needle and sky bridge from our room - 310.
There’s a bistro with Starbucks coffee (but not full Starbucks menu). One of the more popular pancake houses is right next door.
I found out after our stay that you can also rent a mobility scooter in advance from a local company (Bear Stop?) close by and they’ll deliver it to the hotel for you.
We also had pizza delivered from close by Luigis around 10pm.
This was a great stay and we’d choose this hotel again!

This property was clean, conveniently located, and the staff was friendly. The indoor pool area, outdoor whirlpool and fire pits were in great condition and we enjoyed them. But one of the main reasons to stay in a hotel is comfort. The beds were so rock-hard that we actually cut our trip short by a day because we couldn’t face another night of pain. We traveled in a larger group and had 3 separate rooms-everyone felt the same way. It’s such a shame because it had everything else going for it but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the beds.

Absolutely wonderful experience, from the moment we walked in with no reservation, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Immaculately clean, beautiful lobby with fireplace and the room was beautiful. This location was right off the main road only about a 2-3min walk, which made it very quiet and even more enjoyable. Our favorite part was the walks. Beautiful location, hotel and room accommodations! Definitely worth the stay when you go to Gatlinburg!!

This hotel was amazing! It all started with check in. We arrived about 30 minutes early and Lacy went above and beyond to get us checked in early and get us a room facing the space needle for the fireworks show. Great location also. Within walking distance of everything in Gatlinburg.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby. Our room was very nice. However, there were a few problems. The shower is a bad design.Instead of sliding glass doors, there is a static glass door that only goes halfway to the back wall. Was impossible to not get water on the floor (and soak our bath mat towel every time we showered. The fan in the bathroom never worked so you would have the problem of the mirror over the sink fogging up.We told the desk we'd do without cleaning as our stay was only 3 nights. On the second night we told the front desk that we'd want some fresh towels the next morning and to please empty the garbage cans. Never happened! We went to the front desk to take our used towels and to get fresh ones. And I emptyed the garbage in a hallway garbage can. Our wifi was barely adequate. When we returned to the room after being gone for a few hours, nearly always, we'd have to go thru the process of setting up the wifi as if we were first checking in. The most serious issue is that the phone in the room never had a dialtone. Check connections at both ends with no success. Twice, when we were going out for a few hours, we told the front desk about the problem but it was never attended to. Bottom line, this is a really nice hotel that has a lot of relatively minor problems. I assume they've had issues staffing to the level they need. I hope they're not keeping staff low to save money. It is disturbing to me that after spending nearly 15 minutes on their website looking for a place to write a review I gave up. All I found was a few reviews that were all positive. On this trip, we stayed at four hotels. The other 3, which included a Courtyard by Marriott in Asheville, sent us emails us to give them feedback on our stay. Not the Courtyard by Marriott in Gatlinburg.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We truly appreciate your kind words about our beautiful lobby and the overall comfort of your room. We are, however, deeply sorry to hear about the inconveniences you experienced during your stay, and we appreciate your patience in bringing these issues to our attention. We are due for renovations ; coming in 2024 where they will be changing the design on the bathrooms amongst other things. So we ask you kindly to please bear with us. Regarding housekeeping, we sincerely apologize for the oversight in not replenishing your towels and emptying the garbage cans as requested. This does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing our procedures to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. We understand the frustration you experienced with the Wi-Fi connection and the inconvenience of having to re-establish it upon your return. This was due to upgrades to the network and the matter has since been addressed. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it helps us identify areas where we can make improvements. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. We appreciate your patience and hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you in the future, where we can demonstrate the high level of service and comfort that we strive to provide. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us, and we look forward to the possibility of welcoming you back for a more seamless and enjoyable experience. First the pros: Beautiful hotel and fairly close to downtown within walking distance for a moderately healthy person. Here was our problem. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable I've slept on. The pillows were marshmallows, as soon as your head hit it it shrunk down to nothing. Like sleeping without a pillow. It was so bad that the first night it injured my neck and I had to sleep on the couch sitting upright due to the headaches this bed/pillows gave me. Then every morning at the same time Trash trucks came and emptied the trash bins from the restaurant next to the hotel which woke us up. Every morning housekeeping at the same time each morning banged into walls and slammed doors. When I was asked how my stay was I explained all this to the front desk and was met with a shrug of the shoulders and " Sorry to hear that". I say this often...For a business that's soul purpose is to provide a place to sleep to purchase matresses that are rock hard and uncomfortable and pillows that serve any purpose doesn't seem like a wise business plan. This hotel isn't the only one. We travel a lot in the summer and it's widespread.

I have stayed at Courtyards a few times. I am always left wondering why this concept was developed. Most features are the same as a Fairfield yet breakfast is not included and points redemption is higher.

The pluses for this property are no fee parking and the lobby food for purchase items. As an elite you will have option of $10 per person voucher for each day. That netted us $60 for the entire stay but you can only use $20 each day. $20 will not go far so the value is in getting some healthy options quick in a town notorious for breakfast restaurant lines and generally bad food options.

The cons included a waste of suite night awards as the upgrade was a whirlpool tub taking up a large section of the sleeping area. Weird! Housekeeping has to be requested the night before or early in the morning. Charge me less if I have to beg to have my trash emptied.

Overall, a good location and good stay.

Very clean and nice hotel, nice business area, Walking distance to Convention Center, restaurants and attractions. We could see the Space Needle, Skylift and Skybridge from our room which was very cool at night. Fire Department is behind the hotel so quietness depends on the number of emergency calls.
