found stiff female panties behind chair that smelled it took a day to find the funky smell in the room.
asked for enough towels for proper hygiene for a 4 day 3 night stay for 4 people got 3 towles and they acted burdened to give 2 extras.
gave us wrong size beds, booked queen and we got fulls.
great location to get to everything without driveing.
breakfast is muffins and granola bars.
got to see a bear that was awesome.

We checked in late about 11pm into room 121. Check in was fine, the gentleman who checked us in wasn't super friendly but he was quick and sufficient. I didn't realize that this hotel does not have an elevator. So if you have mobility issues request a ground floor or the super 8 in Pigeon Forge has an elevator. Luckily we were able to get a ground floor room because both my husband and I have mobility issues, him more so than I. The room was smaller than I liked, it was a two double bed room. The room was clean but the floor felt off. I think a simple swiffer mop would fix that. The room came with a working fridge, microwave, and one cup coffee maker. There were plenty of towels and wash clothes and toiletries. The bathroom is very tiny, not much bigger than a closet. So if you're grossly obese you're gonna have a hard time getting in and out. We didn't receive full house keeping because we travel with our cat but house keeping did check to see if we needed anything and brought us towels. This is the first time this has happened. I appreciate the time to check on us. The major down falls with the room could easily be fixed and only coat a few hundred dollars, the drop down ceiling in the vanity area had water damage and they were sagging, there were gouges in the bathroom and the wall opposite of the beds. Fix these small issues and the owners could easily charge almost as much as Pigeon Forge properties that are similar quality. Would I stay here again? Yes but I would need to make sure the bed is at least a queen and on the ground floor.

AC Unit leaked all over the floor, service just brought us towels and said they would fix after we left.

Tv's didnt always work.

Towels in the bathroom were dirty except one.

Mattresses were very uncomfortable, wife and i ordered King bed, but got 2 doubles instead. Said they were booked solid, but parking lot almost empty.

This location is the nastiest, mold-infested, filthy, dishonest, place ever! We were forced to spend the night in our vehicle. After driving for eleven hours to get to Gatlinburg we were told that Wyndham had allowed us through the website to book a room at another location that was completely booked! This place was our only alternative, and as it turns out I should have opted to spend the night in my vehicle instead of even attempting to stay here. We reluctantly checked in due to reading all of the prior horrible reviews but was assured by the hotel clerk that the rooms had been recently remodeled! LIE LIE LIE! The room was full of black mold, no pillowcases on the pillows the room smelled like a wet garbage dump and the beds were apparently never changed they were full of black hair and there were candy wrappings on the floors! The best part is I contacted both Wyndham and the property and was told that Wyndham backs the hotel's refund policy which was 50% back and 25% off my next stay! Really? I would never ever stay there again!

Where to begin. As one of four hotels in the Gatlinburg area that allows pets we chose the lowest option at $110 a night. Our fault for being "cheap." We did not check the bedding or the room for that matter before heading out for the day. Office closed at 8pm and when we returned around 11pm for bed we noticed all our problems. Problems were......Burn holes in the comforter, urine stains on the sheets, hair clogged drain, towels with previous guests hair on them, and an A/C unit that screamed louder than my mother when I was a teenager. What a mess. I have contacted the GM of this Super 8 (Amish Patel) and Wyndham customer support with no resolution. I lied, they offered $20 in Wyndham "points." Yeah right.
I suggest to everyone traveling with an animal to spend the extra $20 and stay literally anywhere else. Lesson learned. I will from now on take Tripadvisor's reviews as honest to goodness gospel

We've stayed here in the past and no problems BUTTTT THIS time was way different. We arrived our room was ready but no towels, very noisy, and the list goes on. It didn't quiet down til 1am no joke. The ppl next door had a dog that barked all the time. The house keeping people were slowww and even on the second day we returned to our room only to find no trash bags and still at 12am and no clean towels. Thank God I always bring some from home. We paid for a smoking room and got a non smoking room. It's not worth it. Will not stay here in the future until they get it under control.

The staff here are the absolute worst. They came to our room 10 min after we checked in and told my husband that she told me to initial and I didn't listen to her. Then we got locked out of our room the next day and had to wait 20 min for the staff to casually walk out of a hotel room and over to us to reactivate the card. Didn't explain what happened, didn't apologize, nothing. AC doesn't work, and they advertise breakfast and pool, but they said that "governors orders" that they can't have either. You can just turn your head to the right and see the hotel across the street with people in the pool to know she's full of garbage. Also, the hotel once city over that we stayed at had a breakfast. They prob just didn't want to staff it. Don't come here, go to any other place. Positive note, the room was beautiful and the location was a short walk to the city.

I knew this was a dated motel, and I was prepared for less than the Ritz, but upon check in, the shifts were changing, and I had to wait around 30 minutes to check in. I booked a room to accommodate a family of 5, yet all we had were two queen beds, towels for 4, and pillows for 4. The handle on the one drawer in the room was missing. We got the drawer open, and my husband even tried to fix it, as the handle was in the drawer. Something was stuck into the holes where the screws should go, and it couldn’t be attached. We went out to explore, and came back late. They do have an indoor pool, and we were pleased about that, so our granddaughters wanted to swim. They literally were in the water 5 minutes when the same night person(woman with long red hair), came over and told us the pool was closed. There were no hours posted. We got out. I asked her for more towels, and she grudgingly said she’d get us some. I offered to come to the office to get them, and did, and I asked for a pillow, she was out of breath from walking from the pool, and said the pillows were all the way at the other end of property. I told her to just never mind, we’d make due, but it’s pretty crappy that if your motel is not the best, you could at least have the best customer service. The person next door to us asked if we were having trouble with our keys. I said no. He frustratingly said I guess I’ll have to go talk to the desk lady, and grimaced. I asked if it was the red haired woman, and he said “yeah”. I apologized. In addition, we found a pacifier at the foot of one bed, a baby bottle, and a half full 20 oz at the head, a dirty pair of socks(not ours) under the edge of the other bed, and a random remote. Definitely not getting cleaned good. The fan comes on with the bathroom light, and it’s loud. Just giving an honest review. If I paid for 5, I feel like the room should accommodate 5. Hospitality and cleanliness go a long way.

Very disappointed in this location. They advertise free breakfast on their sign out front of the hotel. There is no breakfast. FALSE advertisement! There is no WiFi as advertised and the cable TV goes in and out continuously. I will NEVER stay here again. I even tried to change my reservation to another location and they said I would just loose my money for the 3 day reservation if I left this hotel.

We went to Gatlinburg for a family trip for New Years. We chose the Super 8 for the location and because we were traveling with our dogs. The location is good but the room was dirty and we found bed bugs on our 2nd night after our son got covered in bites. We spent our New Years Eve packing up early so that we could leave in the middle of the night and drive home. They refused to refund even half of our money. We paid almost $800 to stay in a dirty bed bug infested room. When we went to speak with the manager, he/she refused to come and speak with us. They instead gave us a business card with the managers phone number on it, which they won't answer. Shame on your poor customer service Super 8! I get that bed bugs are a risk, particularly when the hotel is in a highly traveled tourist area, but the customer service displayed by this location is terrible. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would.
