Booked our stay here for 2 nights, but left after the first night....and if I wasn't such a polite Minnesotan I wouldn't have stayed the one night. Our room had a musty odor, there was mold in the bathroom, the two queen beds were terrible, an old TV, the whirlpool had an icky film on the surface. The whole property...

Was what we expected. No surprises, older motel very dated but clean. Friendly staff, nice walk to town. Bed was good, wifi and tv worked. Simple breakfast got our day started well. We stayed there with our dog after a day of hiking.

This a ok motel. Good for one night stay only. Really in a need of a make over. Our room really needs a deep clean. Also the room needs to be painted. We stayed in room 105. This is one floor section of the motel.

Aspen Inn is not a fancy place, but a good, decent place to stay. Their rates were reasonable, and in fact, I had been quoted a lower rate over the phone which the manager honored without hesitation. They allow dogs for a small $15 fee. The room was good with exception of a loud A/C unit. They have a sauna...

Definitely you need advance reservation to avoid high price as the Inn is very close to so many hikes and trails. The place and rooms are quite comfortable for our 1 night stay. Breakfast is okay but not that much fancy.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was nothing special but it worked out fine for us. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and it was nice to have a hot tub, although the jets were weak. Overall the hotel was decent, it was clean and cheap.

Room was okay. Very hot upon entering. TV very old but worked. Staff very helpful. AC died on the second night and we roasted. Prior to that it sounded like a bulldozer was in the room. Extremely loud. Asked for and received a discount. Continental breakfast acceptable. Pets welcomed although I did not bring one, nice to know for the...

Came up to revisit the area and loved our stay. Very friendly at front desk and room was perfect! Updated features in the room and perfect view of the woods. Even though they were completely booked up we did not hear a sound all three nights! One night we sat out on the deck off the hot tub area and...

The facility looked nice from the outside and that carried over to the inside. A little outdated, but that didn't bother us. The room was very clean and actually had a view of Lake Superior. The beds were comfortable. The price was a bit more than I would have guessed though. The staff recommended "The Sisters" bar and restaurant across...

I was a bit apprehensive having read other negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a room in the newer section, which was comparable to a room in most medium-priced chain motels. Wi-Fi was more than adequate, TV reception was fine, room was very clean, AC worked adequately, there was a mini refrigerator in the room, the...
