What a trippy place. I've driven by many times over the years and never stopped. My wife and I stopped by for a quick meal and were enthralled by the decor - how strange and out of this world! It was neat to see the place, read a bit of the history, and have a quick snack with a fantastic...

Such a unique experience. We are planning to go back again next summer or fall and share the experience with friends. Best kept secret. Hospitality is wonderful. Even if you cant stay there, try and check out eating in the historic dining room.

We had a weekend geaway with friends. The food was wonderful and the setting serene. If you are thinking of staying be aware that you will be totally off the grid. No Wifi no cell service (and therefore no hotspot) , no TV no phones in rooms, they celk phone cards to use the downstairs phone. This caused our group...

This wonderful historic lodge is not to be missed. No Wi-Fi, no cell service and no TV makes it a great place to get away. The food is well prepared comfort food--don't miss the cinnamon French toast! The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is terrific.

This place is amazing! The history, the decor, the dining room the food, the staff, the rooms......everything was top-notch! I was traveling with a friend from out of state and didn't want run-of-the-mill accommodations, and this was the place. We arrived pretty late in the afternoon, which was perfect timing to check out the grounds and beach before freshening up...

Very restful. No television, one phone and sporadic cell phone service. The rooms are small but comfortable. Bring a good book as there is a comfortable solarium as well as many nooks and crannies, inside and out, for reading. Eat in the dining room with spectacular Cree Indian/Art Deco design and the largest stone fireplace in the state. The food,...
