The cabins are really great: private, and have all amenities. (Just no wi-fi, and no cellphone reception -- though you might get some closer to the road). The owner gave us rides from the ferry and to the airport, and also from the Bartlett Cove kayaks. Also, there are bikes to borrow (but check them -- one had no working...

We loved staying here for 3 nights. Frank was very helpful and friendly collecting us from the airport and taking us to Glacier Bay and back to the airport. The cabin is very well set out and private. Gustavus was a wonderful place to enjoy July 4th with the community. Nagoonberry trail was very enjoyable. Thanks Frank and Annie

Great value. Super clean. Perfect location. Private. Frank was very helpful and friendly. Trans is hard so book thru Frank to get rides. Full kitchen so we cooked in a couple times. Having bikes to use was great, some need the brakes improved. Fortunately Gustavus is quite flat. :) JJ and Misty

A great place to say. We've stayed in one of the cabins in 2014 and are booked to go there again this summer. Nice, new cabin. Rustic, quiet location. Frank transported us from and to the ferry dock. The Toschco grocery store was about a mile away. The Glove Hitch Cafe was about two miles away. The provide complimentary bikes...

Private surroundings, comfortable and clean accommodations, transportation by Frank is a big plus. Bikes are available to go and explore the town. Wished we stayed a day longer. Would go back any time.

He is willing to book any local tours for you & will drop & pick you up. The use of the bikes was a big plus for us to get...

literally. A perfect get-away-from-it-all place with limited phone reception and no internet. Small but complete with cooking facilities and accommodating owner who provides transport to/from ferry or airport and to Glacier Bay tours if you book through him. Bicycles are available for use. Good location approximately 1 mile from "center" of Gustavas. Brought our own provisions, bought some local fish...

Our experience at the Cottonwood Lodge and Cabins was wonderful. Frank picked us up at the ferry and our adventure began. Frank was very helpful and informative. He took us through the town of Gustavus and told us when the coffee shop, restaurants and the store was located. We booked kayaking and a Glacier Bay tour through Frank and he...

Beautiful cabin in wooded area. He provided bikes and we rode to the little store, and saw 2 moose on the side of the road. There were delicious wild strawberries to pick in the fields. Frank provided transportation to and from the ferry, he also set up reservations for our wonderful boat tour to glacier bay and provided our transportation....
