There are few places to stay when traveling into West Glacier. The Belton Chalet was very nice and the people were very friendly. The room was good, the shower was good. Had a good nights sleep even though the bed was a bit firm. There is a great breakfast place within walking distance. They are also a gas station, the...

A walk back in time, but with comfort and cleanliness. Stayed two nights in August on the front end of a magical week in Glacier - this property set the tone for the trip. Traveled with our two sons (9 & 12) and let them have their own room since older hotels tend not have adjoining rooms. Large open space...

The rooms at the chalet are cozy and clean. In August the view from the main floor of the Inn is limited with the leaves still present, however you are within a short walk to the street (open mountain views) and across the street from the passenger train rail system that continues west to the coast. The hotel restaurant was...

I enjoyed our stay in the honeymoon suite. While the train is charming during the day, it seems to come through more often at night. Closing the windows and using the ear plugs solved the issue, and I am a very light sleeper. The antique bathtub was perfect after hiking all day at the park, which is pretty much directly...

Stayed 2 nights. Very comfortable, clean small room. I had to make a reservation change and Amanda was gracious and helpful. I was glad we were on the side of the building away from RR tracks. We liked the downstairs lounge where we had our breakfast. Brought breakfast makings with us. Dinner at the grill was really good. No TV....

We chose to stay at the Belton while getting married at Glacier National Park. The seed was planted 2 years prior when we toured this lovely hotel. Between the close proximity to the Amtrak train, friendly staff, and amazing property, we were hooked and determined to return for a special occasion. Being from St Paul, MN, we also enjoyed the...

This was the third hotel for my husband and I on our American road trip. We arrived for our one night stay and were checked in quickly and efficiently. It was a beautiful evening and the Belton Chalet and grounds looked lovely. Our room, which was at the back was small but comfortable and charmingly furnished to reflect the history...

Would love to give this place a better rating as the building and our room were so charming. The room was extremely hot and no air conditioning was available. There was a ceiling fan. Weather was only in the 70's as a high during our stay, so we were not sure why the room was so uncomfortably warm. Customer service...

We stayed here one night and we were not disappointed. Simple and clean in the time of the era of the chalet was built. Beautiful Lobby and The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaraunt and wait staff absolutely first class. The restaraunt and tap house bar were packed. My husband and I got married a week ago and this was...

We always stay at the Belton one night before camping at Kintla Lake & then again, upon our return. We love the ambiance of the hotel with its simple but elegant atmosphere, helpful staff, & the sound of the East/West Amtrac train. Nostalgia! We eat at the lovely restaurant where we have delicious food with tasty cocktails! Reserve both hotel...
