My wife and I stayed here for three nights in September 2016 at the start of of a seven day visit to Glacier National Park. We had rented a room with a kitchen and attached bath. Our room was right on the shore of Lake McDonald and we could walk out of our room to the beach. The furnishings were...

We scored a one night stay here after a late cancellation. SOOOOO lucky. This was by far the most amazing hotel we stayed at during our month-long national park our. Each room has a view of the beautiful lake, and although rooms are a bit dated, they are well-priced and cutely retro. We will definitely be back!

I've visited this property a couple of times now and each time I am blown away by the view from the balconies in the back. Set up like a vintage motel (and appropriate modern updates to feel very 60's-chic), each room that overlooks the lake has an amazing view out the back. It's pure heaven on earth watching the sun...

The hotel is immediately on the lake and the view is worth it. We had a two bedroom family room and it also had a full sized table (we didn't have a kitchenette). The atmosphere at the inn was very social during the time we were there... there were families visiting with each other on the porch in the evening...

The rooms have an amazing view of the mountains past the lake, with the hotel right up against the lake. We enjoyed lounging in the deck chairs outside our room and watching the sun set over the mountains! The hotel is decorated in a vintage (60's) style and the whole area felt like a fun summer camp. Location was so...

My husband and I made these reservations LAST August. After reading the reviews on this hotel, we could only book one night because they were all booked for more nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. We had a room on the second floor which was a little difficult dragging our bags up - no elevator. But, the effort...

We'd planned our trip a year in advance making reservations at this inn possible. We stayed here because Lake McDonald laps at your toes just a few feet beyond the patio. All rooms face the lake. Indeed this is a retro motel & although our single queen room on the 2nd floor was small every inch of space was thoughtfully...

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Glacier National Park. It's basically a 1950s motel (with a few upgrades since that time), and most folks wouldn't care for it in other settings, but you stay here for the view and not the amenities. All of the rooms face Lake McDonald, and the view is gorgeous. We had a room...

So you have to book way in advance to get here. The reason is obvious once you see the View! Picture postcard view , this basic amenities inn is very much sought after. For those who follow my posts will know that I love my coffee. So, the coffee here is really terrible. BYO! There are chairs for you to...

Stayed one night first week of September. Solo traveler. Great location for western side of the park. The view of Lake McDonald and the mountains is stunning. The room was clean, bed was super comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. It was quiet and I got my best night of sleep here out of the week I spent in...
