This was an amazing trip with beautiful scenery, hotels, dining, wildlife. I could go back there every year and never get tired of it! I would recommend any hotel or campground in the area! We had a lodge 1 mile outside of glacier and it was right on the river!! Beautiful!!

With a little bit of planning -- and magical help from our awesome Lodge Manager -- Glacier National Park in October can be an amazing trip. We're so glad you had a positive experience, despite the fact that most dining, attractions, etc, are closed in the fall, winter, and early spring. Thank you for staying with us! Cheers, Courtney

Cozy lodge with very comfortable rooms, each with it's own fireplace. The buffet each morning offered lots of healthy choices, fruit, fresh baked goods, yogurt, and more. Comfortable common areas for reading and visiting. Best of all was the hostess, Amanda, who gave tips on

Just hoping everyone is ok and the fire is under control soon.
Hi! There is a Type I management team working on this fire, meaning it is one of the highest priorities in the nation. Please follow our Facebook and Twitter feeds for breaking news re the fire. Glacier Guides Lodge is in no danger at this time. It is smokier some days than others, but we are continuing to operate our Lodge, and run our rafting, hiking, fishing, and biking trips without interruption. Thanks for asking! -Courtney

We have a little bit of Verizon coverage -- Montana isn't known for great cell service :-) We keep a landline available for our guests and offer fantastic Wi-Fi at no charge. Thanks for asking!

Is there a swimming pool?
No swimming pool -- but daily whitewater rafting trips down the Wild and Scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River!

Hi! We love to help plan Glacier trips. You can do all of those things without a car, but it depends on the time of year. Why don't you give us a ring so we can discuss? There a lot of variables with public transportation out here. 406-387-5555. Someone is usually available 9-5 MST this time of year. See you soon!

Yes, mini fridge in each room. There is a food market just as you enter the park and also a restaurant, we ate there once and thoroughly enjoyed the food, not a vast menu but enough

"Best views !"
"There is no elevator so mention that you'd like a 1st floor room if stairs are an issue."
"second floor rooms were nice, if you don't mind stairs."
"I liked the ground floor room because it was easy to bring my backpack in for a final reorganizing of my gear and back out to the car."
"Choose one not next to or above the breakfast kitchen."
