Friendly check in and out. Room clean, quiet, comfy. Secure parking. Everything in good working order, good breakfast. The hotel is 2-story with no elevator, but the stairs are INSIDE the hotel and fairly easy to climb. (If you're older with mobility issues)
We spent two nights here while visiting Gila Cliff Dwellings. We were very comfortable here and pleasantly surprised given the inexpensive price. The rooms were very clean and quiet, the breakfast was just a "pick and go bag". Just a bottle of water, a cold pork pattie sandwich and a fruity cereal bar and one could have as many as one liked. We just warmed up the sandwiches in the microwave and enjoy as much coffee as we needed from the breakfast room or from our room. The area was really nice and we would come back here in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed 3 nights at this Comfort Inn. The room was clean, stocked with coffee, clean towels, refrig & microwave. The front staff was very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. In this COVID environment the pool was closed and only a bag filled with water, granola bar, spice cake and muffin was offered for breakfast. This weekend they started offering coffee and tea. Across the street is a McDonalds. All in all it worked for us.
During our stay we reported twice to the ladies at the reception desk that our room sink and shower were sputtering and putting out brown water. The receptionists came into our room and saw this. The maintenance man never arrived during our stay, so we had to stop using the sink and we used the shower as a sink for our water source. The shower eventually stopped sputtering and then just put out light brown water, but the sink continued to sputter and put out dark brown water. We never learned why the receptionist never was willing to let us change rooms during our stay. The receptionist told us that the general manager would call us about a refund on Monday 16 March 20, but so far, we have not received any calls or emails or anything from anyone at Comfort Inn, even though we requested that the GM contact us. We would like a refund for at least one night since we had no use of the sink but still had to shower in dirty water. Once I locate the email addresses of the management of Comfort Inn, I will forward this email to them since I have not received any response whatsoever from this particular Comfort Inn.…
Came to Comfort Inn late but was greeted very well by Terry. We stayed 3 nights, Dec. 23 to morning of the 26th. Rooms were very clean. Terry was awesome during our stay. Breakfast was good and he even made breakfast on Christmas morning! Some never do get to have off. :( Thank you for putting up with us! It was great.
It was a weekend trip for my daughters 18th birthday. We decided to stay at the Comfort Inn in Silver city and we loved it here. Terry and Megan, who work the front desk are awesome. Kudos also to Veronica the housekeeper who prep the room for our arrival. Joann the overnight clerk prep the delish food in the morning and Joe who took over the morning food. The cookies at night work just what we needed before bed. The General Manager Jeanie is so awesome as well. Kudos to the staff...oh I must not forget Natalie beautiful person. Love you guys and thank you for making our stay there Comfortable.
On the way to Silver City we visited White Sands NM, spectacular white sand dunes, with the test range nearby, then on the following day we visited the Gila Cliff Dwelling NM and the spectacular scenery getting to and from this site from Silver City. The Cliff dwellings are not to be missed.
This is a run down hotel. The room smelled of mildew. I had a problem with my billing in spite of asking the front desk person how to bill me. I happen to be the second person with the same issue. The staff are friendly and accommodating. But the room not so much. For the price, it should have been better. Stay at the Deming Comfort Inn, only a 45 minute drive.
This hotel definitely is showing its age. The staff are friendly and helpful but the place needs a serious remodel. It is a good location but Silver City is a small town and other hotels are equally convenient. My advice would be to shop around, read the reviews and call the hotel re: renovations prior to booking.
While on a trip through New Mexico we stayed here 2 different days. I had room 108 and 222. On the first night I was in room 108. This is a west facing room that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, so during the warmer days you will need to crank up the AC since it will be very hot when you get into the room. Over all the room was nice, but the bed was very hard. If you like a hard bed then this room is for you, for me it was not a great night's sleep. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room and a TV with a lot of channels if those are things you are interested in. Room 222 was just like room 108 except for 2 things. First, it is on the second floor - no elevator only stairs. Second, the bed was not hard. In this room I was able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a the same both days - Eggs, sausage, home fries, make your own mini waffles, yogurt, and assorted breads, cereals and breakfast stuff. The staff was friendly and got all 10 of us checked in quickly.…
