This was our first time staying in Brooklyn. We truly enjoyed this B&B. It is located on a peaceful street with the B and Q lines right around the corner. The B&B offers 2 large rooms on the 2nd floor. The rooms, bathrooms and entire house are very clean and well kept. Breakfast is made up of plenty of fruit,...

We did not know much about hotels and b&b's in Brooklyn, and actually, didn't really hope to find a nice place to stay. Blue Porch exceeded all possible expectations. Trudy and Paul are the nicest people ever, the house is gorgeous, rooms are very comfortable and super clean and neat, and everything is just the way it should be. Breakfasts...

The Blue Porch is very quiet and comfortable, has spacious rooms with big windows (we had 3 windows in our room with a pleasant view in each of them) and is situated in a small and green street in Brooklyn without any traffic. Still it's max 5 min walk to the next subway station and about 25 min subway ride...

Staying at The Blue Porch with innkeepers Trudi & Paul Steinfeld is a good reason to visit Brooklyn instead of Manhattan. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable without overdone fussy Victoriana. Windows open, and there are plenty of outlets for recharging all electronic portables. The breakfasts offer a variety of simple, fresh fare that is also not overdone with sugar....

My family, which includes 3 year old twins, had a lovely relaxed time in New York City under the guidance of Trudy and Paul. They couldn't do enough for us - directions to and from the airport, recommending child-friendly places to eat, finding me somewhere to go running... their location is close enough to the city to explore but far...

We had a great stay at the Blue Porch. We'll certainly go back there on our next trip to New York. - Within easy reach of airport by car (40 minutes) or public transport - Safe, nice and quiet location / free parkingspace - Near subway station from where you travel in about 30 minutes to downtown Manhattan - A...

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Porch B&B. Our hosts, Trudy and Paul were gracious, and helpful, but knew how to stay out of the way. The accommodations were great - large bathroom to share with two teenage girls, comfortable beds, all other amenities like a more-expensive hotel. Location was great - accessible to the subway and BQE....

We stayed in the 2nd floor blue bedroom (with the bay window) and were pleased the room was so large. The bed was very comfortable and the wireless internet connection worked flawlessly. We had private use of the beautifully refurbished bathroom on the 2nd floor. Paul and Trudy live in the home which was built in 1904 and is located...

We had a whirlwind 48 hours, and at the end of each day the Blue Porch welcomed us home with a spacious room and an inviting bed. Our hosts were interesting and interested, and gracious without being intrusive. Breakfast was artful and delicious. Situated in a great neighborhood, close to train to Manhattan. We will definitely stay at The Blue...

We've been at the Blue Porch for about a week and the two of us stayed perfectly well! The house is beautiful, in a nice and tranquil area of Brooklyn, close to public transport. But "the real plus" of our stay was the warmth and kindness of Trudy & Paul, the landowners! They really treated us like family and made...
