We found the Lefferts Manor B & B to be very easy to work with, super convenient to the subway and FREE parking which was a super big plus. I had no problems with the room or the accommodations. I loved exploring Brooklyn after exploring Manhattan ad nauseam. So many great restaurants and shopping places. We used uber and went...

We had the Rose Room for ourselves for 3 nights. It was comfortable, easy to reach by public transport and very close to Prospect Park. The visit enabled us to feel the spirit of Brooklyn by directly immersing us in the historical building and room (do not be mistaken - it had all needed modern neccessities as well!). All in...

There are definitely some good things about Lefferts. The neighborhood was relatively quiet (for NYC) and the Rose Room where we stayed was quite spacious with a lot of light coming into the windows on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were fresh. We slept well. On the other hand, the room needed a fresh...

Were were going to be in Brooklyn for two nights, visiting family. Instead of inconvenient hotels, we opted for a B&B close to Prospect Park. Bad decision. Buried in the description was notice that we'd be sharing a single bathroom among three rooms. With no cancellation, we were stuck with this. But it gets far worse. They bragged about on-street...

Dear Stephen, We are very sorry for your disappointment. We try to be very clear on our website about the set-up of the rooms and bathrooms – since we are located in an 1898 historic brownstone, the house structure remains as it was built which means a bathroom on every floor. We do let guests know about the option of...

We enjoyed four nights at this charming Brooklyn brownstone, staying in the Parlor Suite. The bed was very comfortable, and it was fun (and romantic) having a bath by the bed (the lack of proper shower will not be ideal for everyone however). There is also no TV in the room (which we didn't mind) First impressions of the room...

Loved staying at this brownstone in Brooklyn. It is an old house; it is not perfect - there are creaks and cracks, but it is a home, not a hotel. Most people looking for a B&B should be able to appreciate all that. Three of us stayed in the Fitzgerald room, where we shared a bathroom with another room (the...

We stayed at Lefferts for three nights. We never saw any one working there. We were put at 185 Fenimore Street. We had to stop at the other house and take our luggage to the Fenimore. The room had furniture with the stuffing coming out and the bathroom was a shared bath with 3 other guests. I never saw a...

Dear Alexander, We are sorry for your disappointment. Our Lady Fenimore Guest House is our guesthouse around the corner. We never put guests in rooms different from where they book online, so you may have booked this room online without realizing the location. Many guests prefer this location because of the independence and privacy, but we understand your disappointment if...

Our only regret is that we were barely in Brooklyn besides sleeping that night so we really didn't get to enjoy the apartment or the park across the street. Would definitely recommend to anyone not interested in a hotel. We booked off of their website.

We enjoyed our stay even if we never encountered anyone connected with the place. It was all sotto voce or no voce at all, which was fine. Room was comfy and clean, the walk to the subway and bus short, the neighborhood in transition perhaps. We traveled all over Brooklyn and had a great time. Never hassled in any way....

This hotel was lovely. The bed was extremely comfy & the room decorated beautifully. There is a map provided with the local restaurants which was very helpful as well as a computer & printer downstairs which was a big help for people that forgot to print Broadway tickets! The check in & check out were handled very efficiently. Although a...
