We spent two nights at this inn, and loved every minute of it. Our grandchildren especially loved being turned loose to run through the yard, especially after being cooped up in a plane and then a car for the previous week. We could have spent hours sitting outside looking at the beautful landscaping and distant views. Breakfast each morning was...

Extremely well thought out family suite perfect for wheelchairs. Park right infront of your private outside entrance. Entry is flush (no bump over the threshold) with tiled access to the bathroom with large roll in shower making it easy to wash your wheels after a long day on the trails. The bathroom has two doors so you can roll through...

We decided to spend a week in the Fairbanks area in March, hoping to see the Northern Lights. For 3 of those nights, we stayed a A Taste of Alaska, and we were not disappointed in our choice. It's so close to Fairbanks that it's no trouble to drive in for dinner or to take a look at the fantastic...

Taste of Alaska is set overlooking the Tanana Valley, a beautiful overlook. I found myself just staring out the window for a very long time... Kory and family make amazing food - the home made chili bowls are the best during cold weather-! This is the most comfortable, cozy, amazing place to stay in Fairbanks!!

Kory, the owner was great. The whole time we were there was just terrific. Large room, good breakfast, good company. I can't say enough good things about the lodge. I teach a Lodging Mgmt. class and Kory recorded a video about running his place to show the kids.--GREAT

A Taste of Alaska Lodge is truly a special place. Kory does an incredible job managing the property which consists of a main lodge and few other small cabins. We stayed in the Spruce House which we absolutely loved -- it has all the amenities you need (bathroom, kitchen, multiple beds) and comes with a secluded, incredible view. Kory and...

Great stay here with Kory and his wife Lily. The rooms overlook the valley and mountains, the morning we left was clear and we could see Denali on the horizon! The Aurora was not strong during out stay but we still had a good time. Our room was the best and full of interesting Alaskan curios. Kory is a wealth...

Stayed here with our tour group and it is a great place to enjoy the winter and Northern lights. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is included and done very well. Baked goods are excellent. Would have liked to have seen some removal of snow and ice around the entrances and patios. Very dangerous. Seems to be a common event that...

We stayed here as part of a tour. Lodge was a great location to see Northern Lights and to enjoy rural country scenery. It took about 10-15 minutes to get into Fairbanks on major roads. Breakfast each morning included an egg dish, fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, juices, etc. Each morning had some different items so you didn't have the same...

We stayed 5 nights at Taste of Alaska, and it was GREAT! It's a 15-minute drive outside of Fairbanks, and nicely isolated in the woods. The lodge has a nice big common room, and a dozen or so bedrooms. Rooms are comfy and warm, and include bathrooms and even TV's (though I suspect they don't get used much!). The pace...
