Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation because of weather/road conditions. But what I want others to know who are considering a B & B, Kathy (host) was so helpful when we were making plans for our trip. We talked via phone a couple of times. I told her we were concerned about being out of town in the winter...

We found A Moose In The Garden B&B to be very clean, comfortable, and home-like. Unlike a lot of the other B&B's we stayed at during our Alaska tour, this one has more of a feel like you're staying with a friend, rather than being confined to just one section of the house and only invited up at a set...

Since the first of the year, I have stayed over 142 nights in hotels for work and without reservation, I sincerely enjoyed my stay at the Moose in the Garden. The mixture of guests, the exchange of daily stories & adventures, the great breakfasts and the ambiance of the log house made for a great Alaskan experience. Listening to our...

We loved Cathy her charm, warmth, enthusiasm for life and her outlook. The place was so well decorated and kept and had such a gorgeous landscaping too. Her breakfast was perfect. We stayed there only for one night and wished we stayed longer. There is a magic about this place and its host

My wife and I stayed at the Moose In The Garden for two nights in May 2010. We stayed downstairs in the Moose room. The log house was well maintained and decorated "Alaska Appropriate". The deck provides a spectactular view. The accommindations were excellent, and the breakfasts were outstanding. One breakfast consisted of Moosehead shapped pancakes. Kathy is not only...

We were so impressed by this wonderful B&B. It is truly a spectacularly beautiful log home and Kathy is a hostess par excellence. She goes out of her way to cook delicious breakfasts with FRESH GROUND coffee!, she irons the sheets!!!! and just makes the atmosphere so very inviting and peaceful. Due to our loose planning, we had to move...

Our experience at this B&B was unique. Kathy`s home is amazing! It`s big and gorgeous!. We stayed in the moose room downstairs and even when they were home it was very private and comfortable. For breakfast it was like being in a 5 star restaurant, she talked to us in advance about what breakfast items we like and she took...
