Loved this RV campground. We had trees on our awning side of our 31' Class A. The Chena River Restaurant was within walking distance and we absolutely loved eating our dinner there on the balcony overlooking the Chena River. Staff was friendly and helpful at the campground. Laundry room was busy but we were able to get our four loads...

We arrived in Fairbanks after a week camping at Denali and we wanted an easy stay with clean bathrooms and showers. River's Edge worked well for us. Easy to get to and right on the river. We found restaurants and stores just a quick drive up the road. It was a nice, relaxing stay.

Beautiful RV park on the Chena River, nice picnic area, clean restrooms, showers, laundromat, cafe, and gift shop. Nice employees are an added benefit. Great location near the airport and university, with easy access to everything Fairbanks has to offer.

First, pay no attention to people who complain about the site size or location when they stay at state parks most if the time. This is a place to park your camper or RV and relax. The sites are large enough so that you are not on top of your neighbor. Sure there are only a few river view spots,...

We got a spot right on the river. This is the best place in Fairbanks to RV at. Unlimited hot showers, antique car show through the campgrounds. All the facilities are clean. Very quiet location compared to others. I'm glad we choose this location.

Whilst I would question why anyone would want to visit Fairbanks, we did, and this was the best RV park we stayed at whilst touring Alaska. Good facilities (including shop, clean bathrooms, laundry and wi-fi (rather slow, but free!) and conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from a very large Fred Meyer shop which seemed to stock absolutely everything anyone...

My experiences with camping have typically been State Park Campgrounds. This is not one of those. After spending 1 night in Denali (Riley Creek) on our way to Fairbanks, it is definitely not that either. It is an RV park. And for what it is, it is fine. Good location, reliable hookups, laundry facilities, clean and tidy. They even ran...

We stay here every time we go to Fairbanks--nearly every year. My husband goes fishing with my brother-in-law and I stay at the park usually about 4 days. It is close to a grocery store and a bus line which will take me where I want to go in Fairbanks--the university, downtown, my sister's house. The park itself is on...

This is one of the better RV Parks that we've been to. Friendly and helpful staff. Park very clean and tidy. Excursions can be made from here with local pick-up and drop off. FULL hookup for you RV. Plenty trees and level drive through parking. Fly fishing allowed on C&R basis.
