First off--BEST breakfast of entire trip. You pay 14.95 but it's phenomenal. The cottages are very cute and very quaint. The decor is a little dated and I'm a hotel snob but I really enjoyed it. It was very clean. Shuttles to and from airport. Janet was exceptional. She helped us find activities, called places for us and was so...

Stayed by the river. Beautiful. Very clean, people were great, grounds were very well maintained. The restaurant was very good, prices reasonable and the bar had brandy and the bartender knew how to make and old fashioned. Wish we had time to spend a few more nights and watch the Northern lights from our patio door.

The cottage was very spacious and very comfortable. We asked the front desk to call us if they saw the Northern Lights. On the second night we received a phone call at 12:30am that the Northern Lights were starting. We went outside and saw this wonderful array of color known as the Northern Lights. If it wasn't for the front...

Comfortable separate cottage for each couple/family set close to the Chena river with a lovely riverside walk. The flower boxes are beautiful. The rooms are quaint but functional. Lacking a fridge. Plenty of spacve for luggage. Handy shuttle service. Really great restaurant ranked #2 in fairbanks on the property. Service was excellent.

We were treated to a quaint college - comfortable. There was a walking trail along the river beyond the cottage. This was a super location for exploring Fairbanks with good access to a freeway. The main lodge personnel were helpful with directions, things to do, maps, etc.

Nice cottages to stay a night or two with the family. Located outside of Fairbanks close to the airport. Property by a river and offers open space if you have young kids who need some playing space. The rooms are very clean with good size beds. Good viewing of Northern lights from the river side!

The cottages were very nice. Their interiors were similar to a nice budget-priced motel. The rooms were comfortable. The only problem is walking to the main building for breakfast if there is rain or snow.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An afternoon on a sunny riverbank exemplifies the best of Interior Alaska; this place is built around that knowledge. Trim little cottages stand in a grassy compound along the gentle Chena River. Inside, each light, airy cottage is an excellent standard hotel room, with high ceilings and two queen beds. Outside, they're like a little village, where guests can sit on the patio, watch the river go by, soak up the midnight sun and socialize. ... more   less
