We had a wonderful weekend at the inn. Bonnie could not be more accomodating! When we arrived in the pouring down rain and were drenched she suggested a shot of brandy and robes ( both are included in your room). The dogs greet you and are a wonderful addition. Feels like home. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I made a last minute decission to spend the night in Fredericksburg on a Saturday afternoon. Bonnie had one room left, the king on the top floor. It was beautiful and inviting. She made us feel right at home. She gave us lots of information about the town. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. We fell...

Stayed three nights. Made reservations 4 weeks before arrival. Innkeeper informed us that we could expect to hear noise. And we did hear noise. We heard noise at 5 AM. She did not tell us until we arrived that there would be craft vendors on July 4 blocking the parking lot and that we should expect to park on the...

We spent our 20th Anniversary at the RJI. It was beautiful, quiet, and cozy! Just what we needed to make our getaway a memorable one. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Laura, Bonnie, and the staff were all so nice and helpful. What a great experience to tell all our friends about. We will definitely come back again.

We have been staying at the Richard Johnston Inn in Fredericksburg, VA for years and love it. It's in the heart of the Old Town with shops and restaurants. The visitor's center is across the street. Bonnie the Inn keeper has a great breakfast and a smile. There's off street parking in the rear of the Inn as well as...

My husband and I stayed here for a birthday celebration. Easy to find, excellent location right on Caroline Street and lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. Parking is plentiful behind the building. The decor is lovely with a large armoire for clothing. We had a room ensuite so had our own bath. Very comfortable queen bed and our...

I'm not one for frills and, when I travel, I desire a certain degree of "alone time" to read or relax. I could not have stayed at a better place... Staying in accommodations other than our own homes never seems to have that familiar air conducive to real comfort; that just seems to be the natural order of things. Having...

We stayed here for four nights while attending our son's college graduation. There were 5 people in our party and Bonny and her staff were very helpful and accomodating to include providing needle and thread for me to repair my son's graduation gown which had been chewed up by my son's roomates dog!!!! The breakfasts were excellent and we really...
