My wife and I had wonderful lunch at the Longwood inn. Our waiter, Jason, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He steered my wife to a gluten free lunch (dedicated fryer) that she enjoyed very much. Good meal in a comfortable setting.
Did a last minute book. We had the apartment and WOW. It's was awesome. The whole interior (rooms, lobby, dining room, etc.) is old and so beautiful.

Nice large room on second floor (no elevator). Convenient walking distance to Harvard Medical School. We went for 60th medical school reunion. No one at the desk when we arrived (only one person there and she was on break). Only waited about 15 minutes.

I believe all rooms have private baths. It is an Inn. Some rooms may not be totally handicap accessible. You would have to contact the Longwood Inn about that. Taxi to the Inn from the airport (depending upon traffic of course) would be 30-40 minutes. One could do the "T" to get reasonably close. Silver Line to South Station, Red line to Park St, Green line (E) to Longwood then a 5-10 minute walk to the Longwood Inn. Hope this helps your travels
