Upon entering the rooms and libraries of the hotel, the aroma and creeks of old gave the Savannah Welcome! We found our way through the iron gates to the correct elevator shaft to our floor,,,how weird??? Alas our rooms... our best friends accompanying us for this historical journey back into time, our rooms next to each other,,, Neither husband, engineers for...

A restored 19th century cotton warehouse, the River Street Inn is perfectly located for easy walking access to all the historic Savannah squares, as well as the busy waterfront. If you request a river view room as we did, you have 24/7 views of the huge shipping vessels, tugs, ferries, and tour boats that navigate the Savannah River to and...

The River Street Inn is quaint and authentically historic. We were there over Memorial Day weekend and it proved to be a great home base for all the activities that Savannah has to offer. Steven the bell man was wonderfully helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and well furnished, the bathroom was a bit small but updated and fully functional....

Please let me apologize for the confusion. The City of Savannah does offer discounted parking in the garages over Holiday weekends. However, the $5 rate is not applicable for overnight parking. The Inn's rate for a reserved spot in the garage is $15. We do thank you for your feedback. Our management team will use your information to better serve...

We stayed here for a few days on our tour of the South. This is a great historic hotel on the waterfront. This hotel is a great alternative to the usual chain hotels and has loads of character as you can still see its original purpose as a cotton warehouse. We were checked in straight away and the room was...

What a lovely hotel. Great location, walkable to everywhere & front desk staff very friendly & helpful from breakfast recommendations to arranging trolley tours to even finding river view room at checkin. Nightly wine & appetizers were a nice "perc". Would love to stay here again.

We were delighted to find this quaint and historic hotel. Located right on the river, we were able to take a stroll and find all sorts of great shops and eateries. We ate breakfast at Huey's and LOVED the beignets. They were big and fluffy and...even better than New Orleans' version. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The happy...

Booked for our wedding. No ghost (yet) but wonderful people. Special thanks to Joey when we checked in. Saved us some money parking, and Caleb at Tubby's downstairs. Still have 3 days left, but we will be back.

We and some friends stayed at the River Street Inn in Savannah for three days last week. We had stayed there before, several years ago. The hotel is an old converted cotton warehouse from before the Civil War, and the décor, flooring, brick walls and open beams reflect the antebellum period. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the river...
