We stayed a few night at the River Street Inn. Room was very large and wonderful floor to ceiling windows. We had a street view room but still nice. This hotel is located right on river street so access to the attractions, stores and restaurant is very easy. It is a hotel that is built in an old cotton warehouse...

First time staying here since we usually book through Hotwire.com so we can try out different hotels. Room was beautiful floor to ceiling window with a sitting edge to view all the patrons walking on River Street. Hotel has beautiful wood floors and is very clean. Beds were very comfy, bathrooms were a bit small but that is to be...

The pictures showed large rooms and the description expounded on the view of the river and the old-time charm. We reserved a river side room with a balcony. We arrived early but were told the room wasn't ready but were able to store our luggage and park in the city parking garage for $20 per day. We came back a...

Thank you for your review. At this writing, it isn't known what happened to your room assignment, we are investigating; however you mentioned you arrived early; we're sorry when you returned there was a line at check in. Our building was constructed 200 years ago as a cotton warehouse; when it was converted into a hotel, due to it's National...

I stayed at the River Street Inn for 3 nights and had a very nice experience. Having had a heat wave the week before it was suddenly very cold and wet when we arrived but the hotel was warm and welcoming. Check in was very good, we had arrived early and were allowed to park our car and leave our...

We appreciate your review. Although we do not own or operate them, within our building are three restaurants that serve a complete breakfast, Tubby's, Huey's and Cafe M. As with most tourist locations, restaurant pricing tends to be a bit higher than non tourist locations. Due to being in a Historic District which predates cars, there are thankfully, few buildings...

As a person who works in hospitality, I was extremely disappointed with the way this hotel handles customer service. I booked a room for 4 nights and it took me a month to reach a manager by phone. I wanted to use my rewards from Iprefer, (which is clearly labeled on their website and on the iprefer website) I called...

Super quaint hotel in a great location! Rooms were a little small, but fit our needs. The maids didn't clean the 2nd day, but II'm chalking that up to our late sleep in due to Parade festivities. The downfall would have to be the whole wristband & charging guests to come into your room. The prices are raised for this...

Thank you for you review. We're happy to know you enjoyed your stay and our location. Unfortunately, with over half a million people coming into an area less than one square mile, every building owner/manager has to maintain some control over how many people are inside at one time; it's fire code law and we could be fined if we're...

I really want to thank Theresa at the front desk- not only was the hotel beautiful and at a perfect center location- she provided us with some of the best customer service I've had in a long time! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location is the best -right on the river. You can basically park your car and walk everywhere. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The floor levels are pretty confusing, since the front is two stories and the back is five stories. The lobby is on level four. The rooms are very quaint, decorated very nicely to the...

Thank you for your review. We're happy to know you enjoyed our unsurpassed location. Our two hundred year old building was indeed originally constructed as a cotton warehouse. Due to it being on the National Historic Register and not being able to change it, structurally, creating a hotel within the interior was challenging, hence being a bit "confusing". Since your...

What a great place! Located in the heart of historic River Street, we found this hotel to be a real gem! Staying in a place that is registered on the National Registry of Historic Places made the authenticity of Savannah's rich history come alive. Our room overlooked the square and we were able to easily access all of the historic...

Had great time! Staff we're very helpful. Only one issue it was hard to locate the check in from the street. Note directly across the street from the Holiday Inn Express would have been helpful. The River Street Inn is one the top historic Inn's the country.

Thank you for your kind review! The Historic District does have stringent signage policies which prohibit us from changing or enlarging our signs. We apologize, however that's one of the unique features of a 200 year old building and a 300+ year old city! We look forward to your return!
