I wanted an inn with the feel of Savannah. This inn is on Reynolds square and an easy walk to everyplace. Wine and cheese greeted us upon our arrival. We loved our room and the breakfast was adequate. Great choice of items. One note though, being in a city, one does pay extra for parking, which I was not aware...

My husband made our reservations in early January 2017 - corner room, 2 queen beds. When we arrived late Saturday afternoon we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled because our credit card did not go through - at 12:38am Saturday morning - a good 18 hours prior to our arrival. The front desk said they had called us...

I thank you for your honest opinions and comments. Please understand that we contacted the guest by email/ text and phone to alert her to the declined card. We don't like canceling one's reservation but it is necessary to have a valid credit card to pay for the room or a no-show charge should you neglect to arrive for your...

Beautiful lobby. Pretty rooms. Beds too soft and too high. Kept sinking into hole! When asked about step stool was denied. Wifi basically nonexistent in rooms. Be mindful about payment plan. In fine print they do not devide up payment - at least that's the story. What's more frustrating is that the stories are inconsistent. Staff seems overworked, tired but...

The location of the Planters Inn is fantastic, we walked everywhere. The concierge was fantastic, she got us last minute reservations for dinner at The Olde Pink House and provided great advice on tours. Complimentary breakfast as well as Wine and Cheese in the evenings gave you the opportunity to interact with other guests staying at the hotel. Would definitely...

The location was great, valet parking was good but there is a charge for it. Pretty much everything else was poor. We stayed in room 606. The bed was TERRIBLE. Too soft with a big divot in the middle. The bath tub drained really slowly. Watch if you have children because the hot water is extremely hot. Even the toilet...

Great location for doing just about anything in the city of Savannah! We never used our car! Lobby, elevators were decorated in St. Patrick's day theme. Great check in and out. Our room was quaint, the beds were comfy. They offer a complimentary breakfast and serve wine and cheese in the evening. Valet service was excellent as was the entire...

Love the Planters Inn, great location, amazing hospitality and service. We were there for St. Paddy's day (2 nights). Never drove anywhere. Three women shared a large room, double vanity with two queen beds. Spacious accommodations for a historic inn. Everything up to date and 1st class.

The Planters Inn is an excellent location from which to explore Savannah...you can walk to everywhere of interest from there. The "staff" were extra-ordinarilly helpful and the evening free wine tasting (with cheese) gave a great opportunity to meet other guests. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. Planter’s Inn is at Reynolds Square right in the heart of the Historic District. It is absolutely a great place to stay. Its location makes it easy for walking around the city. It’s close to the river front, restaurants, historic sites, and anything you might want to do in the city....

In Savannah for an overnight and stayed at the Planters Inn in the historic district. Service was awesome. We wanted to explore later than what checkout time was and they held our bags and we could leave the car valet parked until 11 pm that night if you wanted. Nice breakfast choices in the morning also. Everything was within walking...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To sleep in the epicenter of the city's beautiful historic district, book some time here, on Reynolds Square. The Planters Inn offers elegant rooms, great service, and a jovial wine and cheese reception where people linger each afternoon. For a view, ask about one of the rooms overlooking Reynolds Square Park. Better yet, step outside the inn and get lost among the azaleas and architecture. Just make it back for your dose of wine and cheese. ... more   less
