We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. The lobby is very inviting and comfortable. Coffee service is provided in the morning and during the weekdays there is a wine and cheese reception for guests. On Thursdays and Sundays a local historian speaks to anyone interested in his presentation. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly....

Dear readingteach, I am so pleased that you enjoyed everything from the location of the Marshall House to the wonderful staff. The historian is a wonderful addition to listen to while having wine and cheese that we have Sunday- Thursday evenings. It seems you took advantage of the many amenities that we have to offer. Nice place, historic, breakfast is included over St Patrick's day weekend. Hotel is a little pricy for what you get but your paying for proximity, close enough to the action to be in it when you want, but not hear it when you've had enough. Valet parking is $20 a day but that is standard for St Patrick's day weekend.

David M, Thank you for staying with us over St Patrick's Day weekend. It sounds like you had a nice time. We are very grateful for the wonderful location on Broughton Street, the parade route comes by on the corner of where the hotel is located. I am glad you were able to enjoy the free breakfast for the weekend...

We stayed at the Marshall house for 3 nights. Our flight was delayed and when we finally arrived close to midnight, the staff was warm and friendly, which continued through our stay. They booked our tour for us easily the next morning. The breakfast was excellent every day. The service was superb at this hotel. I especially enjoyed the history...

Thank you Wendic! Our combination of history, comfort, and modern amenities was a tough balance to achieve. We are ever thankful to the restoration architects that were able to pull this off. Happy Travels, Hugh / GM

Careful! Weddings both nights we were there with our young ones. $1k for two nights, and it was so loud that our 5 and 6 year olds couldn't get to bed until almost 11:00 pm. Front desk gave us a "sorry, not sorry" when we brought it up. Responses to emails and surveys never came. Nice place, but we will...

Thank you for this feedback rfWheeler, We have events at the Marshall House almost every weekend during the Springtime. We rarely have complaints of this nature because we have strict rules that use of the Courtyard Atrium must end at 10:30. Nevertheless, we are really sorry this was an inconvenience for you. There's no excuse for not getting a restful...

Just a wonderful stay. The room was perfect the staff was very accommodating and breakfast was good. Loved hearing about the history of the hotel. Would definitely stay again. By the way we actually stayed in June of 2015. Thank you Karen Ketelsen.

Love it there. Have stayed there several times and am always happy. Great staff. Makes you feel so welcome. I went with friends and they were very impressed with everything. They have a very nice breakfast buffet each day. It is close to so many places and you can walk a lot of places. I will stay again. My favorite...

We stayed at the Marshall House during our first visit to Savannah without knowing much about the hotel or the area. The location of the hotel is perfect; it is located right off Broughton Street (one of the busiest streets with tons of shops and restaurants) and within easy walking distance to nearly everything in the city. I can't say...

We love the Marshall House. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was very good as well, definitely worth the $9.95 price. But what we will remember most is the friendly and accommodating staff. The star of the show being one Mr. Carlton. His morning greetings made each day extra special. Thank you for making...

I'll state the only thing I loved but also hated were the wood floors running throughout the upstairs hallways and rooms. They are beautiful, but I can hear every step and bump going on upstairs and next to me. Now the really good... Staff was amazing, the breakfast buffet was great, and location is the best in downtown Savannah. If...

Love hate relationship with the floors? Seriously, thank you for staying and pointing out all the plusses. We put the cushioned red runners down the halls to muffle the sound of footsteps. But we can't bring ourselves to covering up the character of those 1851 floor boards. Happy Travels, Hugh / GM

The Marshall House has been lovingly restored. We enjoyed staying in the Marshall House while exploring Savannah. The location is great, right in the heart of old Savannah and just a couple blocks to the river. We especially enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese reception and the local historian's presentation on The Marshall House and Savannah histories. Highly recommend the...
