Great location. Charming hotel. Rooms are large and quiet, although the people staying above us were clomping about in shoes until near midnight, keeping us up. Perhaps the hotel could suggest that guests on the upper floors take their shoes off when entering their rooms? The hotel offers a full continental breakfast that is free for kids--a great deal. Arnita,...

Really old hotel in historic Savannah. It is a place everyone should stay once. Friendly staff and great General Manager. I didn't understand why the $25 parking wasn't included in the first bill when I checked in. It is charged to you when you leave. They were very professional. Going to be around $250 by the time you pay all...

Thank you Hiltonhead Carl, We really enjoyed having you and your friend with us at the Marshall House, and appreciate you recommending us! Valet parking and breakfast are completely optional but a great value for downtown Savannah. We hope to see you again. Best, Hugh / GM

This is a wonderful historic hotel, the staff from start to finish could not have been better. You felt like you were stepping back in time. Very easy to walk to the historic district from the hotel. You can't go wrong staying here.

This nicely located hotel is a great place for history buffs. The edifice has provided multiple services; all of them inspire the imagination. We loved our stay in the Mary Marshall suite, which is charming and large enough to host 2-4 private visitors for cocktails in the living area. The lovely hotel lobby is the gracious setting for guests' wine...

Thank you Roberta, I'm so happy to hear you were able to join us in the Library for the Talks and Music. The Bistro is a really wonderful setting with some of the best food in Savannah. I'll now have to try the Duck! Happy Travels, Hugh / GM

Staff was incredibly professional and helpful. The location made it easy to walk to any location in the Historic District. Valet service was incredible helpful and allowed up to not worry about our car during our trip.

We wanted to experience a hotel that captured what it was like in the "olden days". The rooms are smaller than modern hotels, but that adds to the experience. The staff in all respects was friendly and helpful. A word of caution when walking around the historic river front: lots of old uneven cobblestone sidewalks.

Thank you Russell! Very good advice on walking around Savannah with it's cobblestones, road pavers, some uneven sidewalks, and interwoven landscaping -- wear good shoes. Some of our rooms are small, indicative of the historic construction and the 1999 restoration to give all rooms plumbing, air conditioning, and modern amenities while preserving our historic character of the only antebellum hotel...

The Marshall House is the perfect place to stay in historic Savannah!! The hotel is wonderfully historic, with much of the original woodwork & many fixtures still intact, yet comfortably modernized! Our room was gorgeous & the bed was super comfortable!! And to my surprise the bath towels were luxurious & quite thick (something you don't normally find in a...
