We had originally booked at a different hotel due to price, but this was our dream place. Rooms sent on sale and we jumped at the chance to stay. I contacted the hotel to see what anniversary couples could do - they not only responded tight away, but had champagne waiting in our room when we arrived! Lovely room, beautiful...

Everything from the moment of our arrival to departure was perfection. The warm welcome from Carleton, pleasant check in experience, the room was as we pictured and extremely comfortable bed. We very much enjoyed the historian and the wine and cheese. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and they were kind enough to send a bottle of wine, card, and...

This hotel in downtown Savannah will be my hotel everytime I go to Savannah. The ambiance is wonderful, the staff most attentive, and the breakfast buffet one of the best in my travels. There is no coffee maker in the room, but that is more than made up for by the excellent coffee they have in the lobby each morning--much...

We are so glad we cancelled our reservation at the Hampton Inn, in favor of this historical, charming hotel with local flavor rather than the cookie-cutter standard. Not only was it less expensive, but we were spontaneously upgraded to a deluxe king. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly, and the hotel is an easy walk to anywhere in the...

This lovely historic hotel is located in the heart of the historic district. That feature is key because parking in that area is tough and one misses so much when driving! The room was small, which is not unexpected in a historic building, but comfortable. Breakfast is served in a lovely room that resembles a courtyard, and it is worth...

We were in Savannah for a week in mid March over the Saint Patrick's day weekend and we were lucky to find a room at the Marshall House. We had no idea that Saint Patrick's day was such a popular event in the city. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Despite the fact that there was...

The Marshall House was the perfect spot for our family for a night in Savannah. Sure, you can get a glitzy branded hotel with a bigger bathroom, slightly larger room, maybe a parking garage. But this is AUTHENTIC historic Savannah. The room was ample and much larger than I thought from the pictures. The bathroom, while smallish, was plenty large...

We absolutely loved the Marshall House and do hope to visit again in the future. Unfortunately we were only staying for one night but after arriving we did then have a serious debate about staying one more night as we loved it so much, but unfortunately we just didn't have the time on this trip. The staff were very friendly...

I recently stayed at the Marshall House during a trip to Georgia visiting my son who is in the military. I was travelling alone and felt very comfortable both at the hotel and walking in the area surrounding the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.
