Love this retro motel, friendly staff, which includes them waiting up till 2 am for out late arrival. The RC Cola and moon pies were awesome. Very short walk to all the downtown sites of Savannah and two of the trolley tours.

Parking spaces are very tiny and they charge you to park??? Our room was not very clean. Hair behind bathroom door and comforters on both beds were dirty. Headboard was made of suede and needed cleaning. Non disposable coffee mugs in room we did not use and no to go cups in lobby. Donuts were nice and fresh and staff...

Great location and wonderful staff. The bed was very comfortable. The price was easy on the wallet. I enjoyed the retro vibe of the motel and would recommend it to my budget conscience friends. I would definitely stay at the inn again.

The Thunderbird was retro but overpriced, 60's music blared loudly overhead outside on speakers during the day. Luckily my room was far away enough from the speakers that I could not hear it. Unfortunately I was on bottom floor and could hear heavy footed guest above me at night. I was unable to sleep well. When I went to check...

We were looking for something reasonable in town. Booked directly with them. Everyone is super nice, that's worth a lot. It has the look of an old fashion roadside motel but is more stylish and comfortable, and a good deal for in town. They have donuts, coffee and juice in the lobby in the morning. Your pets are just as...

It was a toss up between staying at a historical home, or going a little bit cheaper and staying at the Thunderbird Inn. As soon as a friend recommended it, saying that she'd stayed with her infant child there no less, we were sold. It was easily accessible off of the highway. Parking was included, and available. We were given...

We booked through Travelocity for a pet friendly hotel. We were charged $114.90. We arrived the day of the reservation. The lobby was full of screaming children. Then we were told that there was a $50 charge for our 15lb dog. This was not disclosed in advance. The desk clerk was abrupt and rude and said she couldn't help us....

Small motel with funky touches in 50s style: Decor, complimentary cola, moon cakes. Clean and friendly, just around the corner from historical district. The service is friendly and the price is cheep.

This a really cool retro place to stay. The staff is friendly and will assist with local tours if needed. The rooms are really cool however the bath is somewhat small. Location is great and near the historical district. Really liked the fact that it is in the 60's makeup. Very enjoyable stay.

friendly staff, clean, cost-efficient, close to town, bicycle ride home makes it easy. Close to all the restaurants which in Savannah there are quite a few. Suggestion is try the old pink house, and Garibaldi's. Sit at the bar at Garibaldi's the bartender is great.

Thank Michael K
