The Embassy Suites was a perfect place to stay. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to City Center where there are a lot of restaurants and shops. The staff were very nice and the complimentary breakfast and happy hour were very nice touches. I would stay there again!

Great staff, was able to check me right in even though it was very busy (and lively!) with their happy hour reception combined with an auction event. I went to my room, which was a king bed suite, it was very clean, had both fridge & microwave. Spacious, the front room had a small sofa as well as a desk with room for 3 people. Lots of charging USB ports to keep your gadgets going. The bedroom was roomy and had a ton of storage space. There were TVs in both rooms, a door between the rooms ensured privacy, and the well appointed bathroom (Nutragena products.) was accessible from both the living area and the bedroom.

The furniture was all solid dark wood, the General decor was functional and nice. The view from my window (room 219) was across the rooftop to a brick wall with a service door...the only glitch in an otherwise pretty perfect stay. Breakfast has cooked to order omelettes, buffet style bacon/sausage, potatoes & eggs, pastries, oatmeal, pancakes...it was wonderful and included with your stay. Fresh biscuits with gravy? Yes please!

Evening happy hour was well attended with friendly people enjoying great prices on drinks and finger foods. There is a sandwich/deli type store tucked in by the bar and restaurant as well as a general shop with antacids and chips ahoy cookies as well as other junk food! There is a French restaurant on premises, I did not eat there.

I would highly recommend staying here, it is a wonderful location with reasonable prices for what you are getting...great service, great room, great breakfast, great location, terrible view from my room. Still give it a big thumbs up!

You are greeted with a grand entrance hall and immediately we felt good about this hotel. Reception staff were friendly, plenty of elevators to get to your room quickly. Rooms were large and very comfortable and clean. There is a large lounge area with TV and a kitchen and dining area. There are doors leading into the bedroom and bathroom. There is a good storage cupboard. The bedroom also has a large TV and leads to the bathroom also. The hotel is on a quiet street with nothing much else there, however it is only a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Savannah. The area felt perfectly safe during the day and night. Breakfast was very good and you could order eggs how you like them, it was nice to eat from proper plates instead of paper plates we often had in many other hotels on our travels and there were plenty of waiters on hand to collect your plates when finished. There is a service station around the corner for some basic foodstuff in the absence of eating out, however the evening complimentary drinks and nibbles evening was great. We were offered a range of free drinks and the nibbles consisted of nuts, crisps, crackers, cheese and fruit - it was all very tasty and it was a great way to relax amongst other guests. The pool area was lovely with a nice fire pit seating area. There was 2 laundry rooms located on alternate floors and also a room with computers to access the internet and print off any bookings needed. There was a small shop for some basics, such as laundry wash, crisps, chocoate and so on, but as expected you pay a premium price for these items. We booked this hotel a couple of nights in advance through an on line agent and we were so pleased with it we decided to stay an extra night, we were able to get this extra night cheaper by booking directly with the hotel. I would definatley stay here again should I return to the lovely Savannah.

I've always liked the suite-with-separate-rooms layout (not a kind of divider wall that some "suites" hotels have) for families, as it allows family members to go to bed at different times. The included breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold items and allows you to get straight to the sightseeing. There is adequate good quality dining available so if you're tired at the end of the day you don't need to search for a restaurant. The evening reception is, like at all Embassy Suites, a bit of a crap shoot for food and the bar always has a line and very limited selection. To be fair, this is mostly because people abuse this complimentary food and drink service. Some Embassy Suites I have visited have been poorly updated over the years, this hotel is in good condition and well maintained. When staying at City center hotels I try to get the top floor to reduce traffic noise. In this case that's not necessary and some rooms get noise from HVAC on the roof, so maybe try a middle floor. If you will spend a lot of time by the river, try something a little closer, otherwise this is a good location.

My friend and I along with her kids stayed Jul 21-23. We stayed in the 2br 2 1/2bath presidential suite. Upon checking in and checking out was warmly greeted. Breakfast due to covid was a bagged and had a banana, orange, yogurt, and a Danish/bearclaw. Room was clean and we'll maintained. After housekeeping cleans rooms, they do place a big sticker on the door frame and the door, which allows one to know the room was clean and sanitized. There was a king bed in the master with a jetted Jun and separate shower. The guest bathroom had 2 queen beds and a shower/tub combo. There was a half bath/water closet next to the front door. There was a small, but adequate kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 burner stove, and full size fridge. There was a huge dining room table. Pool area was nice and even had a fire pit area. There was a stand with fresh towels for pool use. Due to covid...there is no valet, which means it's self park in the garage. The garage did recognize the digital key on entering, but not on exit. This resulted in having to push the help button to be let out each time.

Forsyth Park is nearby, which has a beautiful fountain and playgrounds for children.

Otherwise was a great stay and look forward to returning again.

Thank you very much for the kind review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Digital key does present challenges with the parking garage at times and we will continue to work on getting this corrected. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope that you will continue to come to Savannah!

This embassy suites location was a poor representation of embassy suites.

1. Carpet in Hallway was dirty & smelled.
2. Breakfast was far from tasty
3. Room had an odor
4. Room furniture not up to date
4. Hand sanitizers were empty at the elevators or not available.

For the price I paid to stay there it had to be solely based on location, because honestly that was like a $99/night hotel.. not $217/night

My best friend and I stayed on 11/10 and there was no hot water in the entire hotel last night or today. We wanted to take hot showers before bed after being in the rain and it was freezing cold called front desk said it should be fixed in the morning but it was not. We tried to talk to a manager. There was no manager in the hotel that would speak to us. We thought we should we have gotten some type of compensation. We had to pay to 28.00 a day to parl too. Since no one would speak to us regarding our stay, I am posting this on many websites to make people aware. They should have told us upon check in there was not hot water which is essential for a stay in an high rated hotel and not some hostel in Europe. We would have gone somewhere else that night but would have come back and stayed at Embassy another time.

Location: Easy to drive to and park vehicle just off major highway. On outskirts of historical district. We were able to walk at night to the River front and to City Market.
Don’t stray any further to the west than the hotel. Walk north and east. Hotel concierge can also set you up with trolley hop on and hop off tours.
Staff/Cleanliness: check in was easy and staff was friendly. Concierge was helpful and knowledgeable. Room appeared clean but old supplies were left behind by previous occupants both in fridge and on windowsill which led us to question the scrutiny of the cleaning and sanitizing.
Happy hour was great. 2 complimentary drinks were provided for each adult in our party using a ticket system. The complimentary happy hour lasted for 2 hours which helped to space out the guests. Bartenders were friendly and very accommodating of various drink choices.
Morning breakfast buffet provided average selection and a made to order omelet bar. Between the hours of 8 and 8:30 the crowds were minimal. We waited about 15 mins for the breakfast to be prepared.
Three elevators in the lobby helped with speed and efficiency. We’ve been traveling the entire east coast and this was noteworthy bc it was one of the easiest hotels to navigate in and out of.
Rooms were spacious and set up well to include a microwave, kitchen sink, and small table. Living room area had an pull out couch. Our biggest complaint is that the mattress was thin, worn out and uncomfortable. They also didn’t provide any sheets for the pull out although we chose the hotel specifically bc we needed to accommodate a family of 5.
Overall, when I visit savannah again I will be looking for a hotel on the River front. However this hotel was good and provided the space we needed for a group our size.

Passing through town on our way to Florida
First time in Savannah so we wanted to get a feel of the city. We were recommended by our son and daughter in law to stay here
When we got into town at about 11:30 AM we called the 800 number for rewards club members and booked our room. We went right over to the hotel so that we could park our car and walk around the city while waiting to check in around 3:00
The extremely friendly and accomadating front desk clerk.....initials "SRN" (I think her name was Survaya.....sorry if I got that wrong) told us she could get us into our room immediately as it was available. WOW! The room was more than we could have hoped for. A very spacious two room suite with mini bar area, separate bathroom, sitting area, spacious bedroom with king bed. The room was very clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable with pillows to die for. Lots of clean towels and easy to get to.
Nice features at the hotel included a complimentary happy hour with snacks and drinks as well as a complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets.
This was a really wonderful surprise. We hope to return to Savanna again soon and will definately stay here.

My wife and I stayed here for a 3 night getaway and the hotel was one of the nicer Embassy Suites we have stayed at. We called prior and were informed that breakfast would be modified (understandable) and the evening reception would only be Thursday through Saturday.

The hotel room was very nice and the accommodations were what we expected. Unfortunately, they were not including liquor as part of the evening reception, which we would have appreciated being told up-front what was and was not included.

The location was nice, but in all honesty, we would have stayed at another Hilton area hotel closer to the river if we were informed about the evening reception changes up front.

When we were there, the hotel was withing walking distance of many great areas. We wanted to walk so that was never an issue. We also arrived late in the day/ early evening and noticed there was a lot of foot traffic as well as visible law enforcement(thank them for serving). We felt safe all the time there and were out walking at night. It was very easy to maneuver around in the area.
