Just book your stay. Don't even bother looking any further, honestly. My husband and I stayed during our honeymoon and it was everything and more than we could have asked for. The atmosphere, employees, comfort, rooms, bedding, service, food, walkability to places, etc. were all excellent. I don't think I can come up with one complaint. The breakfast and afternoon teas were never skimpy on the food and were always delicious. The bedding was so incredibly soft that we literally went home and bought the exact same sheet set and have been gifting it to others for their weddings as well. The staff had any and every possible thing you could need during your stay and were extremely helpful and friendly. If you book this b&b, our recommendation is to not book a rental car because you really won't need one to explore Savannah from this location. We only Ubered once our whole week there and only because we were tired, not due to the restaurant being out of walking distance. Thank you, Bellwether, for an experience we will never forget!

My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Bellwether House, and we could not have picked better…

Bellwether wholly earns its billing as an ‘experiential’ hotel, and this review will not do justice to the building’s carefully preserved links to Savannah’s historic past.

Beginning at check-in, every member of the staff we encountered was charming and – most importantly for me – personable. Be sure to seek out Elyse for a historic perspective; a special shoutout to Chef Ryan and team for creating the most uniquely delicious brunches we have ever had. Afternoon Tea rounded out a truly memorable culinary ‘experience’. As if that wasn’t enough, bartender Matt is at the top of his craft and his suggestions and execution of evening cocktails were spot-on.

Our room was impeccably furnished, with dreamy bed and luxurious pillows and bedding, linens, bathrobes, and amenities. And morning coffee on the balcony was simply blissful.

And who doesn’t fall in love with Savannah?! With its location on leafy Gaston Street, the hotel is in the midst of the historic district, within comfortable walking distance of Forsyth Park, the city squares, churches, and downtown – perfect!

As a seasoned traveler myself, my reviews are not usually (never, actually!) as gushing as this, but this stay was as memorable as it gets, and both my wife and I were truly sad when the visit came to an end.

THANK YOU, Bellwether – we will be back!

Wow, what an experience. I rarely write reviews, but our Bellwether experience deserves praise and explaining. We travel a lot but have rarely stayed at a Bed & Breakfasts. This was an exceptional experience and unexpected, even after reading the other great online reviews. The property style is classic yet contemporary. Our room and all the common spaces were very comfortable and quiet. The location is easy walking distance from everything that you want in Savanah while being situated in a residential area in the historic district. The experience at Bellwether is amazing. It is designed to offer you as much or as little interaction with staff and other guests as you desire. We arrived in time for afternoon tea, which was a great greeting and a wonderful way to meet some of the staff and other guests. It is so enjoyable to meet a few of the other guest and get to know them and their stories over breakfast or cocktails and share a bit of your day. Going in we thought the price a bit much, but this is a real value for what is included in your stay. Included in your room rate is an amazing breakfast, afternoon tea with snacks and an evening Champagne toast. Read some of the other reviews about the breakfast…. they are all true! The staff is amazing and very helpful.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and it was all that is said online and more. The staff is amazing, nice, sweet, helpful, and just on top of things, every one of them! The house is unique, a mix of old Town Savannah with the right additions of 21st century, from Google Home panels and keyless entry in each room, to Apple TV and a walk in gorgeous shower. The front porch is specious, quiet and relaxing. The back patio is very large for an in-city house with plenty of seating options. The food, wow, like nothing we have ever had before. We made it a point to try something new each time. The little things like high tea at 3pm and champagne toast with sobering at 6pm are what add to the whole experience. Savannah always has plenty to see and experience and we will be sure to come back and stay at the Bellwether House.

What an experience! My husband and I stayed at The Bellwether for one evening and the stay exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in the beautiful historic district and steps away from Forsyth Park. Th building has been renovated beautifully maintaining its historic features with warm, modern touches. We stayed in Room 2 which featured high ceilings, luxury linens/bedding and an incredible steam shower. The room was impeccably clean and it is clear the staff take a lot of pride in the property. Afternoon tea and breakfast were both fantastic and the service received from all staff was warm, approachable and welcoming. This is a special place and a very unique stay and we can’t wait to recommend it to our family and friends!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our way to Asheville. I travel 2-3 times per month and stay in a variety of hotels/airbnbs/ B&Bs- this place is top notch.

The hotel is nestled in a beautiful area of Savannah, easy walking distance to many restaurants, parks, and squares.

We had room 11. It was beautiful but tiny. I would have picked another room if we had other options when we reserved. The bathroom was spacious. Comfortable bed, fluffy white towels, hair dryer, straightener, outdoor blanket, and banana grams in room.

They offer free valet parking. They have a long front porch or nice back deck area with fire pits for lounging.
The daily breakfast is included and you can order one of everything if you want it. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the cottage cheese pancakes with chantilly cream. The bacon was exceptional also.

Afternoon tea is 3-5 each day. Finger sandwiches and desserts. I thought the sandwiches lacked a bit but desserts were good. You can get beverages and cocktails 24 hours a day. They also saber a bottle of champagne each evening at 6 but we never were around for that.

They offer yoga on Thursday and Saturday mornings and it was the perfect class after a long week of meetings. Great for anyone. The new people enjoyed it.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book here!

Savannah is a quaint charming town and our stay at Bellwether did not disappoint. Wonderful friendly staff. They also provide breakfast until 12:00, tea/coffee with pastries at 3:00, champagne at 6:00 and a treat at night waiting for you in your room. Oh and yoga at 9:15am. Everything was very well maintained, excellent location in town for walking and felt very safe at night walking. Free parking too. Loved our visit and would definitely go back again.

My husband and I spent several days at the Bellweather last week. The stay was perfect. The first thing is the staff. Everyone was wonderful, absolutely everyone. They were on hand to help with anything, give dining recommendations, make a cocktail, and make you feel welcome. The food was so amazing. Breakfast was such a delight with such different options. There was nothing that we didn't enjoy. I loved the tea in the afternoon with the sweet and savory treats and the champagne toast at night was fun. We opted for one of the small rooms (#7) and expected it to be very small and we were pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful and enough room for us to relax. There were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy some downtime or a cocktail or two. The Bellweather is only about a block and a half from Forsyth park and walking in the area was great. We almost booked somewhere closer to the river, but being deeper in the historic district was so much better. It was quiet and beautiful. We left our car in the lot and easily walked everywhere. We never drove to dinner. I loved Savannah and I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

This was a fantastic stay in Savannah. From the unique rooms, to the chef curated breakfast, to unique coffee and tea drinks all times of the day, to the tea time and champagne saboring. Truly a unique and wonderful experience. The staff was outstanding and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is also within walking distance from many sites in Savannah.

This place is exceptional. My wife and I stayed recently and it was the highlight of an already great experience in Savannah.

The house has beautiful original architectural details and has been impeccably renovated. It felt simultaneously historic yet very modern. We especially liked all of the green accents.

Our room was well-designed and luxurious. A few of the details we appreciated: a deep soaking tub, a full compliment of bath products, comfortable robes, super comfortable linen sheets, keyless door locks to make check-in/out easy, a molekule air purifier, super fast wifi, and a nice desk to do some work.

The Bellwether also had great complimentary programming with an optional tea time, champagne toast, and a really tasty Indian-inspired breakfast. The staff treated us like we old friends and was more than accommodating in making cocktails and offering Savannah recommendations.

This place truly exceeded our expectations (hence the review, which I rarely write!) and we look forward to returning.
