Love the city of Savannah. Love the history. Went to see Jeff Dunham at the Enmarket arena. (not his best show.) Went to several bars and restaurants. Have a strong drink at the pirates house, stop by Abe's on Lincoln and draw your best Abe Lincoln one put it on the wall or ceiling.
We stayed in the king patio suite and brought our two little dogs. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, the dogs even got a welcome goodie bag. Great location near the Riverwalk area and a 15 minute walk to the market place. A really cool historic building with lots of history. There is even a breakfast/lunch restaurant on the property in the basement.
The East Bay Inn has been part of my family's lives for a long time. The location, accommodations, staff, and cost of the accommodations make it a must stay hotel in Savannah. Riverstreet is right out the front door. There are more restaurants and bars nearby than I can count. We stay here every time we go to Savannah.
Friendly staff and wonderful room! I would recommend this Inn to anyone! The stay were accommodating and gave lots of suggestions on things around Savannah. If you are looking for cozy and comfortable, this is the place for you.
Quick overnight stay at this historic inn. Room was fairly large for a city located Inn. Nice seating in room with a couch and chair. Room had a frig but no microwave. Water and popcorn and coffee provided. Coffee maker was Keurig style. Bathroom had walk-in shower which was nice and pretty good water pressure. On-site parking was limited for maybe 10-12 cars so had to park about a block and a half away which wasn't bad. Inn covers cost of parking. Overall the value and location were good.
I researched Savannah extensively to find a hotel so we could take our cat”Janice Litman” with us and found The East Bay Inn.It was the perfect choice for us . The location was centrally located to everything. The rooms were large with wide window seals . Janice sat in the windows and enjoyed watching the tourists. The parking was convenient and the coffee was great. We had such a wonderful time that we are already planning another visit to the East Bay Inn!
Perfect location, we walked to dinner at the Old Pink House, and the folks were wonderful. Just be aware that the noise overnight is very pronounced. I grew up in NYC so I'm used to city noise but this was on another level entirely..That said, the location is everything you'd want...
great location and the staff -all of them were so friendly. Made us feel welcome. The location is right is perfect, however you can hear some traffic and people out on the streets BUT they have ear plugs in the room if needed. I used them but my husband did not. We would still come back because it was a great trip and place to stay.
The heating coil went out but the hotel staff was amazing. Perfect location, amazing staff and GORGEOUS room. They thought the heat was fixed the first night but it wasn't: the second night it was so cold we ended up ordering heating pads from instscart just to have something. Had it not been for the heat issues it honestly would have been the perfect stay. Every employee was beyond friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and you could walk everywhere which is what i wanted. I parked when we arrived and didn't have to touch mh car until we left. The room was breathtakingly gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. The only reason the service is marked 3 stars instead of 5 is because it took then 2 days to fix it and we were only there 3 days. The lowest i saw the thermostat said 51 but if felt s lot colder. We slept jn our clothes with our jackets on and gloves! …
it was great being able to have our dog with us while being in the center of Historic Savanna where we could walk to everywhere. The free parking and free drinks every day were greatly appreciated. Thank you.
