Hotel service is impeccable. The chef Barrington made the best salmon my wife claims she has ever eaten. It melted in your mouth. Trust our server was amazing and deserves great thanks. Overall the restaurant (Aqua Grill) was a great experience.
This was my second time staying at this resort. It is lovely. The rooms are spacious and everything is well-maintained. The pool can get kind of crowded, but it was lively and I liked the atmosphere. There are lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy and plenty of resort activities and treats. There’s a free ferry to the historic Savannah district (which you can see from the resort) but we drove in each time. Be aware that hotel parking is not free - you can do self parking in the lot ($20 per night) or valet ($35). I will definitely return to this location for future Savannah trips.
I went to Heavenly Spa to get my very first massage and when I tell you that it was AMAZING! My masseuse, Darren, was nothing short of amazing. I let him know it was the first time and he was very knowledgeable as he explained everything to me. He definitely got rid of ANY fears and anxiety that I had. The whole staff was amazing, from checking in to checking out. I will definitely be back for sure.
I had the most relaxing deep tissue massage with Darren. He was kind and attentive and I came out feel relaxed and loose. Would definitely return. The sauna and relaxations rooms before/ after are an awesome perk.
Kelly Brown and her team was phenomenal. Their warmth and attentiveness was amazing. The goodies in the lobby and the activities were an extra special touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend the Westin Savannah Harbor to anyone!
From the Marriott Convoy reservation process, valet parking, luggage assist, the popcorn representative, checking in (thanks for the personalized Savannah highlights Charlie and David!!!😊), through checking out (thanks Jon Micheal and Alisha!!!😊), the customer service and accommodations are EXCELLENT (even with the current renovations). The Westin is our new TOP SPOT for future Savannah adventures!!!
Stayed at the Westin Savannah on vacation for two nights as a Bonvoy Plat. Was accommodated in a harbor view room after the application of SNAs were not successful in getting us into a suite. The views from the room were beautiful and it was nice to see downtown Savannah from this side of the river. Breakfast was decent, though there were long lines to be seated. The fitness center was also offsite which was somewhat of an inconvenience. There were some cute activities (e.g. smores by the firepit) but these were generally unstaffed and overcrowded. We were not pleased with the overall value proposition of the Westin. The resort fee is high and offers limited value for guests that don't use the golf and spa facilities. The resort is also under renovation, which meant a busy lobby and a long walk to the ferry pier via an underground garage. On balance we would probably try the Marriott or the JW on the other side of the river which have much better connectivity.…
We had the best spa experience this weekend. We cannot commend the team at the Westin enough for such a special day! Our massages by Darren and Khalimah were perfection! Wimon and Charles gave us compassionate and excellent service. The front desk team, especially Sarah, were amazing. We cannot wait to return!
Avoid at all all costs for time being. The website does not explain the hotel is currently under renovation. Public areas are limited to lobby and one small restaurant. No public restrooms other than a couple of standard rooms on 3rd floor. Doors are propped open and restroom door does not lock. I had someone walk in on me. VERY embarrassing for both of us. Staff is nice, but indifferent about the inconvenience. Breakfast buffet was comparable to Spring Hill or Fairfield. I would order off menu. If you are not a lifetime Marriott traveler, and you just need a $330 to $360 place to sleep. This is your place. For the money, I would recommend the riverfront Marriott instead.
Wife and I stayed a couple of days ahead leading into the new year and the stay was fantastic. Cynthia from guest services was great when I called ahead because of a problem with my reservation. She took the time to handle my issue and made sure everything went smooth. We had an issue with our sliding balcony door and Marco from the engineer crew was on time and provided great customer service. Overall all staff from the valet’s to the front desk staff was helpful. Will be back over summer and look to book same balcony room. Only small downfall - no microwave in room but, it does come with small refrigerator.
