This hotel is one of the worst Hampton Inns I have ever stayed at . I sent an email with photos to Hilton corporate to illustrate how poorly kept and inattentive management is to their guests concerns . I had to switch rooms because the shower door could not close , the keys do not work after exchanging them three times . Other guests told me they had the same issue with the room keys Moulding by shower doors falling off and filthy The manager told me the key was dirty but after reading reviews here it’s an issue that’s been going on for over a year . When I told them about the shower door they said Maintanance fixed it but never came to the room and issue remained . The front desk said that other guests complained about the same issue yet I was given the room . They also told me there were no other rooms then magically found one right next door ! I came into the room with no toilet paper on the roll or tissues in the box . Closet was held together with Velcro that was so worn so you couldn’t close that door . They also have the audacity to charge you 7:00 dollars a night to park in a garage that looks like it hasn’t been attended to in weeks , The smell of garbage , spilled coffee and urine welcomed you to this safety compromised place . I was welcomed to the front desk with employees yelling at each other about not being paid correctly . Manager Gautam Shetty gave me 50% off the cheapest of the four nights I stayed and really wished I went away . All he did was comment yessir to every photo and issue I had and if you look on past reviews you will see he gives you the same generic response I received . Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY at this Hampton Inn . I just left a Hampton Inn in Mt Pleasant SC which was immaculate yet this one was more expensive .…
Extremely clean place beautifully decorated. very comfortable. the front desk is very reliable and very knowledgeable. check in is very smooth everything is just perfect They offer breakfast and it’s very close to the historic district in Savannah It’s also Covid friendly with social distancing and disinfecting stations etc. I just love this place
We were in Savannah due to a family member being hospitalized nearby. The room was comfy and clean. The whole property was well kept. They replaced our towels apon our request since we were bathing before and after visiting the hospital.
The room was dirty, the cover on the bathroom light fixture was missing exposing wires, the shower door looked like it had not been cleaned, the heat/air was intermittently working, and the garage was dark, tight, and unsecured. My vehicle was struck in the parking garage and I was told they didn't have any camera footage. Just a miserable stay. The flap in the vent/bathroom ceiling continued to make loud noise all night long and made it impossible to sleep. I asked for a different room, they said they were booked and did not have maintenance on-site... My wife has additional pictures if needed.
Needs a complete refresh! Our first room was about 80 degrees when we walked in so we set the thermostat to 65 (lowest it could go) and waited. After about 3 minutes it finally started so we went out to dinner. Upon return the room was still very hot (~75 deg) so we were moved next door. It too was warm but not as bad. The a/c did respond in a reasonable time and started to cool the room. Although it was not able to get it below 70 deg. it was tolerable. Overall the room was okay it should have been better for the price. It was not “deep cleaned” by any means- tv had splatters of something on the screen, there were dusty cobwebs all over the ceiling, the shower glass had smootz on the inside (assume just hard water stains), brown stain on wall in bathroom near door and there was a lump of something on the wall near the shower (maybe shampoo?). In addition to the cleanliness there is a safety issue- a large, sharp crack on the vanity top that you can cut yourself on (several others have been filled but this and another have not). When stone is falling apart- it’s over due to be refreshed. The shower was poor. The key card readers are worn and it takes multiple try’s to activate them. On the upside- it was quiet, had enough outlets to charge phones, had a clock and the nightlight was appreciated.…
