We have stayed here twice now, and this is my new favorite hotel downtown. It is walking distance to most things downtown. It is a beautiful, clean hotel. Both times we stayed we were greeted by the same few very friendly valet, Anthony, Deon, and Layne. They were very helpful recommending things to do, and were always full of pleasant conversation! I must have had them retrieve and park my car 10 times in the 3 days we spent here. And they were just as pleasant each time. They have 2 bars and a cute fire pit to sit by on the ground floor, we sat here both nights drinking champagne and eating late night snacks. Definitely will be returning here in the summer!
We chose the Alida on the recommendation of a friend for our short visit to Savannah. It did not disappoint! The hotel is lovely and clean, with a comfortable room. We enjoyed food at the rooftop bar as well as Rhett’s for breakfast. The food was very good at both places! Throughout we encountered terrific and friendly service including Harold at valet service. The hotel’s location is perfect for enjoying the Riverwalk and surrounding historical area by foot. We would highly recommend The Alida!
So far so good my only complaint is there is never a firm cervical pillow for people with neck issues like myself. Otherwise the room is great the area is central . The staff are helpful and courteous.
From arrival to departure, the experience at The Alida was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful without being pretentious and window seating in the rooms is such a nice decorative touch...i love it! Corey at the front desk was very professional and always happy to provide assistance when needed. Every associate we encountered was pleasant and friendly. Trade Room Bar and Rhett restaurant were also nice. The hotel is located in the newly developed Plant Riverside District and there is plenty to see and do. We have visited Savannah many times, and this area is certainly a welcome addition to downtown River Street. I can imagine summers are extremely busy, but we will certainly stay here again. Oh forgot... do NOT use stairwell to access other floors...this is only to exit the building. Im sure this is a security measure bc there is a lot of pedestrian activity.…
The place you wanna stay at when visiting Savannah, The staff is highly friendly and attentive, the architecture and interior design is gorgeous, great fitness center and beautiful rooms. It’s walking distance to riverside and restaurants.
The Three Muskateer Girlfriends so enjoyed our stay at the Alida in Savannah. Everyone made us feel like we were family from the moment we walked in the doors until the time we left. Alida is convenient to all the fun things we love to do. Shop, eat, and enjoy the history that Savannah is so blessed with. Highly recommend!!!!!
Beautiful, modern clean relaxing place to stay! I very enjoyable place to get away with lots of places within walking distance to go to. i would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The bar has a fire pit as there are other areas with them to relax throw corn holes and unwind.
Wonderful boutique hotel on one end of River st. Great staff from the best valet Anthony to the front desk to expert mixologists in the lobby bar. Beautiful rooms tastefully decorated. Rhett’s brunch is a must. Shrimp and grits and a Bloody Mary to start the day
Enjoyed everything about this hotel. Tastefully decorated and very welcoming. From check in to check out.. each employee was top notch. I especially appreciated the valet,Darnell’s, help. He went over and above to help us load our car with a ton of bags. Great
The valet was amazing, especially Anthony and joe because of how nice they were. Also the resteraunt is very good. The room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Overall it was a great experience.
