A Luxury Collection Hotel, Savannah If there is one thing that we know at Perry Lane Hotel, it’s Savannah - a city with deep roots and layers of nuance, whose charm and grace captivates everyone who steps onto her well-worn, cobblestone streets. It’s a city rife with history yet thrumming with energy, welcoming everyone in with a crooked smile and a glimmer in her eye. A unique study in contrasts, Savannah seems to embody two characters at once: an old soul with a modern outlook, and worldly elegance with a creative edge. These rivaling identities energize the city, resulting in a sense that magic is around each corner. Perry Lane Hotel captures this rare duality in our contemporary design and love for our historic city. We invite you to discover more about our visionary hotel that reveres Savannah's past, captures its present and champions its future.

Can I just tell you about The Perry Lane Hotel? My family and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the hotel for the past two days. The Perry Lane is a beautiful property situated in the heart of the historic district. The location is ideal for easy walking to terrific shopping and dining, as well as enjoying the iconic Savannah scenery and architecture. Our room was well appointed and comfortable.

But where The Perry Lane truly shines lies with their service and staff. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Kennedy, the valet. We were so impressed with his friendly, welcoming manner. He provided a wealth of information about the hotel and available amenities. He made sure we were settled in our room, and within minutes of arriving he had brought ice, a nice bottle of complimentary chilled champagne, and fresh bar glasses we had requested.

We had dinner at The Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market located in the hotel. The food was phenomenal but, again, the service was the highlight. Our server, Stevie, was so pleasant and helpful. He was obviously eager to make certain our dining experience was enjoyable and we wanted for nothing. He provided off-menu sweet tea for my son and made sure my husband had a freshly washed salad due to a severe allergy issue to a preservative.

During our stay I went to the lobby coffee shop for my morning coffee. I was surprised when the barista said my coffee was complimentary. I wandered into the restaurant during a time when they were not serving. A friendly staff (I regrettably did not get his name) asked if he could help. I asked if I could please get a coke to go. He kindly went and got my drink. When I went to pay, he waved me off and told me to enjoy.

In summary, go to The Perry Lane Hotel! You won’t be disappointed. These folks have raised the bar when it comes to customer service, courtesy, and class. It is without reservation that I highly recommend this hotel. We’ll be back.

We stayed here the weekend of February 29th, 2020 for the first time. The hotel certainly isn't cheap but it does offer brand new amenities with flat screen televisions and sub ports in the walls for example.
The rooms are about medium sized, very well done with a large bath, huge shower, and decorative wood trim throughout. The property isn't too large so you don't feel like you are in a maze of floors and rooms and there is a fantastic rooftop bar. The view is outstanding and the atmosphere is to be desired. The prices, again, very steep in my opinion. However, there are plenty of nearby options for both food and drink should you choose to leave campus. On he way in we are greeted with wonderful staff; the valet personnel was especially kind and helpful. Bernard, Pop's, Kevin and Jimicheal were are waiting to provide grade A service for all of your needs. Pop's is particularly remarkable with his sharp suit.
There is a restaurant within the hotel that I would not recommend unless you are just looking for mussels; those are great. Otherwise the price is out of whack and the service leaves room for improvement. We will go back soon and recommend this property to anyone.

I’m pretty picky about doling out 5 stars for hotels. Lots of hotels are clean with friendly personnel. That’s not enough to warrant 5 stars. So why Perry Lane? What did they do above the others?

Let me start with the room. The beds were very comfortable. Felt like the sheets were better than the average hotel. Set up was functional and yet, a bit unique. Toilet paper was more Charmin and less cardboard paper. Towels were well sized. These are the small details that can outshine other hotels.

Staff is next. We arrived on Christmas and let me say that’s a day where it’s easy to be bummed you’re working. But if they were, they didn’t let it show. I’m going to botch the spellings but Zarr and Xavier were our drivers to dinner (hotel has car service!) and they were really awesome and friendly. The Emporium staff was top notch as well.

Breakfast in our room was delivered promptly. Roof top bar was attractive and the pool area as a whole was nicely done (we didn’t partake in the pool being that it was cold in December). We also had appetizers downstairs and thought the cheese board was very tasty.

Perry Lane has 2 separate towers and we stayed in the one where we checked in. Can’t speak to the other. The other is directly across the narrow road where you enter the hotel. Door to door from each tower is only about 10-20 steps but it’d be nice if they connected the awnings of each tower as a sort of breezeway over the road. Cars could unload under the breezeway and guests can walk from one tower to the other without getting rained on in case of bad weather. That’s my only suggestion. But that’s a building modification.

Overall- not sure I’d stay anywhere else in Savannah considering the amenities and high quality of this hotel. I’d recommend it.

I stayed at the Perry Lane hotel as a birthday celebration with my husband and child. We were greeted by a very friendly bellhop who helped us right away with our luggage and getting us checked in. When we arrived to our one bedroom suite, we were happy with the amount of space and looked forward to spending the long weekend there. Unfortunately, things went downhill from this point moving forward.

We noticed some normal wear and tear like scuff marks on the wall but became a little worried when we saw toothpaste residue on the shower wall and hair in the drain. For the amount of money we spent per night, this is unacceptable. To make matters worse, our room was not cleaned the next day (we left at 9am and returned at 4pm) and a room service tray across the hall had been sitting out for nearly 24 hours. We made the front desk aware of this on our way to dinner (5pm) and they said someone would clean our room while we were out, which they did. The following day, our room was not cleaned again after being out all day so we requested additional towels. Lastly, while walking down the hall to the elevators, someone’s room key reader had completely fallen off the door and was laying on the ground.

Overall, this is supposed to be a luxury five star hotel and there are serious shortcomings in the housekeeping department and overall maintenance of the hotel. We gave this feedback to the hotel manager who said they will look into the housekeeping issues. I’m not one to complain or write negative reviews (you can see my prior reviews for other hotels) but as loyal Bonvoy Gold Elite members who are willing to pay for a luxury experience, we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Huge Marriott/Bonvoy fan and traveller but this hotel provides no coffee or tea in the room, never mind the cherished signature green apples travellers come to expect from the luxury collection. In-room dinning was not an option at 10pm and while the local jar of chocolate cookies are cute, they are not enough to sustain any real appetite. Don’t come hungry but if you do “there’s a late night grocery store across the street.” Oh and I’ve included a copy of the in-room dinning menu for when room service is operating (highlighter and chicken scratch for unavailable items included - apparently, “no smoothies” ever) 😅

Our first trip to Savannah GA was epic thanks to the wonderful staff at The Perry Lane Hotel! It is part of the luxury collection for a reason. We arrived at the hotel around 5pm on a Wednesday. Staff wears masks and face coverings, there is sanitizer stations set up throughout various entrances and doorways Upon entering, we were greeted by a young man named Nicholas. He was very attentive to us. He and another staff member got our bags on the rolling cart. While my husband got us checked in, we were given a complimentary glass of champagne. Nicholas made suggestions for bars and restaurants to try out, what items to try at the restaurants, ect. The room was spacious and super clean! There is a bottle of hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes in the room in case you left your own.

The next day, we were greeted by more awesome staff members. We were in Savannah to celebrate my 40th birthday and my husband’s birthday, which are back to back. When Kennedy at the front desk found out that day was my special day, he sent a bottle of champagne and 2 flutes to our room while we were out. Bernard was at the front desk helping guests get in and out of the lobby and into their cars. He made some wonderful suggestions for us to venture for the day. We met Pops at that time, and I cannot put into words how welcomed he made us feel. He really makes you feel like you’re with a family member. He took my husband and I under his wing, and drove us around. He told us about the places that it is cool to go as tourist, which ones to avoid and which locations neither tourists or locals should go to. He would drop us off and pick us up in one of the cars the hotel uses for complimentary car service. That’s right, the hotel staff will drop you off and pick you up anywhere within 2 miles, up to around 9-10 PM. Not just any car either, they are using a 740i BMW (which was my fav), Cadillac Escalade, or a Lincoln Town car. They are a luxury collection hotel!

There is also the roof top bar, Perequin and the swimming pool area is next to it. A staff member is by the towel bar advising guests which lounge areas are available, as they kept them 6 feet apart. The restaurant Emporium has some delicious selections and full bar. Another bar area is across the street at the 2nd location, The Wayward. There is plenty to do at the hotel if you don’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time to stay at Perry Lane, we just love this hotel! The hospitality is top notch. Doors were always opened for us, champagne was included daily, and wonderful staff made us feel so welcome. Joann, Kennedy, Pops and Kevin took excellent care of us.

We felt very safe, they all wore masks and gloves and provided sanitizer and wipes in room as well. What a refreshing experience after being stuck at home for months. One of our all time favorite hotels!!

Our group of 5 recently booked the Perry Lane Hotel for a bachelorette weekend. None of us having ever been to Savannah, we weren’t sure what to expect. This hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. This luxury property is trendy and chic without being pretentious. Southern hospitality is plentiful without being hokey or smothering. The rooms are spotless and have everything you could possibly need, from Molton Brown soaps and lotions, plush robes and towels, giant beds that will make you think you’re sleeping on an actual cloud, delicious snacks, waters, WiFi, Netflix… and if you find there is something else you’d want, the team will make it happen faster than you can hang up the phone. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar, complimentary cocktails during happy hour... we didn’t want to leave! The location is ideal for dining, exploring, shopping… close enough to all the action without feeling like it’s forced on you.

All that being said, the real star of our trip was our personal butler, Mr. Kennedy. He was knowledgeable, polite, and amazingly helpful. He kept our rooms fully stocked with champagne for our bride tribe, made sure we were taking advantage of everything Perry Lane had to offer, kept us on schedule, gave us fantastic recommendations, the list goes on. Always popping up exactly when we needed something without being intrusive, and by the end of our trip he felt like family to us! Isn’t that what hospitality is all about?!

We honestly can’t say enough good things about the whole experience, and will be sure to recommend to anyone visiting Savannah!

My husband had business near Savannah, so I decided to join him for a much needed long weekend. I chose Perry Lane because of its location in the historic district. We could not have been more pleased with our choice! At check in and through out our stay we were offered unlimited champagne. Our room was pristine! In fact, the entire hotel was. We were told to make any requests on the tablet in our room 24/7 and we would be taken care of. And we were! I liked that the toiletries were in large containers so there was no chance of running out during our stay. The car service was a huge plus! We were taken to dinner each night of our stay. The drivers were engaging and were eager to give any information they could. The concierge, Christina, was very helpful with restaurant and tour suggestions. The roof top bar provided a lovely view while we enjoyed drinks. We loved our visit to Savannah in large part because Perry Lane was exceptional!!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Upon entry, we were greeted by the friendliest hospitality staff, offering complimentary champagne and helpful suggestions on where to eat and things to do. The rooms were clean and wonderfully decorated, the gym has everything a travelers needs to maintain their fitness routine (to include Peloton bikes) and the rooftop bar and pool offered great views. The items included in the stay did help justify the higher cost, and the location and location dining nearby made it worth it. Although it’s not on the river, it’s a very easy walk, or they offer bikes and a free driver/car within 2 miles.
