If your looking for to stay in a grand authentic Savannah home in the heart of the city than this is it. The home is period correct with blown glass windows and beautiful wood work and furnishings all for a fare price for the area. If you are looking for a parking lot, breakfast (not included), ice machine and a...

A beautiful home and impeccably furnished. The bed was very comfortable. It was central to everything we wanted to do in Historic Savannah. It was the least expensive option during the Savannah Film Festival. However, it was the first accommodation calling itself a B&B I've stayed at where breakfast isn't served. You are encouraged to walk about 100 yards down...

Dear Andrea, Thank you for your words about our home, the furnishings, and the central location in the historic district. We have not called ourselves a bed and breakfast for a couple of years now. Our multiple online listing's also notify all reader's: 'We are now know as an airbnb.' Thus, we offer tea, coffee, and water; not breakfast. Our...

Our stay was nice however be very careful where you park. We parked on Price Street right next to the Spanish Moss Inn. When our stay was over we went to our car to find someone had taken a brick to our door and window trying to break in.The damage was terrible. However the car parked behind us wasn't so...

Thank you for your review. We understand the need for due precaution as well. Since our opening day in 2008 we have not had such an issue occur, and we understand the local police were able to assist and explain there had been a series of car thefts in the historic district during that time period. As concerned locals we...

We went to Savannah on a lark - a quick one-day vacation within a vacation to Atlanta - and were just wandering up and down River Street on a Sunday night, looking for a place to stay. The Spanish Moss Inn looked nice, so we just knocked on the door. Glad we did. The host and hostess, Sam and Elena,...

We spent our honeymoon at the inn and it was wonderful! The location is awesome, we walked everywhere and took in the beauty of Savannah. The inn is super clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to go back home! We will definitely be back to stay again!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at the Inn this past weekend! It is so charming and the location can not be beat! It is in walking distance to all the great restaurants and across the street from River Street. We would stay there again and recommend this place to anyone traveling to Savannah!

We stayed back in June for our Honeymoon. Spanish Moss Inn was a stop on our way to North Carolina, and our second time ever staying at a B&B. We were lucky enough to have the house to ourselves, and checked out the other rooms. All the rooms are gorgeous, the house is old and cared for. We stayed in...

This is our third visit and always we have a very nice and relaxing visit. I read the review from the people who were complaining. I was there during that weekend and I remember it well. That group hogged the entire first floor for their party. This was extremely rude and selfish. When I personally entered the house to get...

Very loud house with no staff ever to be seen. I was charged extra fee's days after leaving that were unreasonable and had there been someone there to check out with this may have been avoided. I would not recommend staying here nor will I be staying here again. I also don't understand how a place can be a Bed...

Hello Dear Guest, We spoke in advance, before a reservation was finalized, with your party about the rooms available and what kind of space the 210 year old rooms offer; we knew it was a special occasion and gave detailed information about what was possible for your guests in any of the three rooms you reserved. It was our hope...

We stayed in the "Garden Room" which is in the basement. The room is spacious with private bath and entrance. It has a fireplace which you are allowed to use also. The location of the Inn is in the historic district across the street from the Savannah River. The housekeepers come and go quietly but are very friendly if you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are now know as an airbnb accommodation. You can find us at, "Sam and Helen's airbnb," in Savannah. This is our home, please take care of it. Our home is an intimate and comfortable setting only for guests. Thus we ask all visitors to respect the security and privacy of others, and the property. Thank you. We would like to share some information about our inn with you. Each room has an outstanding king sized bed with a quality Kingsdown mattress and a private bathroom per room. Upon arriving you will see that our 207 year old home has been finely refurbished and renovated. We enjoy welcoming visitors for relaxation in the heart of historical and beautiful Savannah. The Dunlap-Eppinger house was built in 1808 on the corner of Jefferson and Hull St., and in an effort to preserve one of Savannah's historic homes it was relocated in 1968 to Bay and Price St. We are located on the eastern corner of the historic district, and within walking distance of the historic squares. Most guests walk across the road to Emmet Park and Savannah River, and venture out to the local cafes, southern restaurants, and shops. If your considering a walk, bike ride, or drive to Forsyth Park it's less than 1.5 miles away!! During the morning light our living room, dining room, and sun room fill with warmth and reveal Federal Era architectural details such as the dentil crown molding, wood floors, paired fireplaces and plenty of reading spots throughout the home. You will see Emmet Park and glimpses of Savannah River from our inn. Walk across the street and down a few steps to Savannah River Street where you might dine or sight see. Our location provides the ease and comfort that you desire while on holiday in this historic downtown area. Make Savannah your getaway destination by treating yourself to a stay at the Spanish Moss Inn! Our home was rescued and restored in an effort to preserve Savannah's historic homes. Come relax by your wood burning fireplace within the elegant yet family setting and enjoy the comforts of home. ... more   less
