I was there for one night with my family And the check in was horrible. Had to wait 3 hours in lobby with my disabled son to get to my room and the receptionist was very rude when I would ask questions. This was the worst check in experience I’ve ever had in my life and will never return.

Stayed at this hotel because it was close to Memorial Hospital. The beds were hard, like extremely hard. The sheets were stiff to the point of being scratchy. The shower had a good bit of hair on the bottom and walls. I don't see how housekeeping missed it. We had to take a towel to wipe it out before showing. Thank God we were exhausted. Otherwise it would've been a restless night.

This hotel seems fairly new, or recently renovated. The entire property appeared to be in good order. It has its own multi story parking garage immediately alongside with entry to the hotel from each floor of the garage. There's also an elevator in the garage. Daily parking charge of $12, which is reasonable, is added to your bill. Abercorn Street is a busy road, lined with most of the national restaurants, coffee shops and stores and there's a mall not too far away. So although there's no restaurant in the hotel, there are plenty of dining or to-go options nearby. But despite all the traffic, I didn't notice any outside noise. My room was clean, modern, well furnished and comfortable. The hotel breakfast area was a bit small and the options seemed limited compared to other Fairfields, but the food was good. All the staff were efficient and friendly. All in all, this hotel served its purpose for my short business trip.

Stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family. We had a king room on the 8th floor. It was quiet & clean. The room had the normal basics that we expected including a sink with lots of counter space and a walk in shower. There was even a washer dryer on our level. We didn't use it. Breakfast was good & also a standard type buffet with coffee, waffles, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, hard boiled eggs, apples, oranges, etc. The staff at the front desk & those taking care of the breakfast were very pleasant. There is a small outdoor pool that was open during our visit. I didn't use it but it said it was heated. The parking spaces in the garage are narrow & not great for large SUV's & trucks. Though not bad for a car. Parking costs $12/day. I do wish they didn't charge for parking or that the fee is much lower. For us the location was good. We'd stay here again.

We had a handicapped room for my mom. The room itself was clean and spacious. It could have used one additional chair as there was only one desk chair and neither of us find sitting on a bed comfortable. The bathroom was large and spacious but it was concerning that the floor became wet during showers and became very slippery. The textured part of the floor wasn’t terrible when wet but the smooth part that comprised the area from the door to the vanity was super slippery if one’s feet were wet from the wet part of the floor. The little bath mat couldn’t handle the amount of water that escaped from the shower. Very risky for the elderly or disabled, even for the without disabilities.

Our stay at this hotel was interesting. Having stayed at this property many times in the past few years I can said I was disappointed. The hotel is showing it age and margin maintenance in the common areas. Carpets are dirty, chairs are worn etc. Very disappointing for a Marriott property. While the bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked properly, and there was hot water for the shower I guess I was expecting more from a Marriott property. The breakfast was the most disappointing. While I obviously was not expecting a 5 star meal I was expecting to have a much better choice of items than they had. It was the minimum they could have done to call it a breakfast. I mentioned it at the front desk and was told their truck had not arrived the day before. Probably the truth, but not my problem as a paying guest.

As a Marriott Gold Member, I am accustomed to quality service. Here, customers must request housekeeping; at the pool towels, umbrellas & lights to be turned on must also be requested along with paper towels for the public bathrooms. Breakfast was skimpy. I had to request something other than oatmeal & toast in order to get a full breakfast - the next day. The staff was nice, but it's obvious that they are cutting corners or just doing enough or the status quo.

Being a Marriott, Bonvoy property, I've come to expect the property to be in better condition. We booked a King Suite for 2 adults and an 11 year old. When the hotel knows the number of occupants that will be in the room, it would be appreciated to have the sofa bed out and made up already. Also, to have the appropriate number of towels in the bathroom - and we had neither. The room was musty and furnishings tired. The sofa bed mattress had multiple stains, so we put the blanket and two sheets on it and allowed the child to sleep on top of it with her own blanket from home. The sofa upholstery was ripped in several places as well. The microwave was non working, When we went to the front desk to report this and ask if there was somewhere we could heat up some leftovers, we were told there was no microwave available. Our in-room fridge froze our tangerines and restaurant leftovers into solid blocks of ice. Breakfast was not available on our last day due to electrical (?) issues. Lastly, housekeeping was not provided at all during our 3 night stay. I understand that this was the case during the pandemic and for a short time afterwards, but this seems extreme months later. On the plus side, front desk personnel was friendly, and the pool clean. Would we stay there again? No. Marriott needs to spend some time and money on refurbishing.

They need some more training. As a front desk supervisor at another Marriott location, these front desk staff are lacking. They do not have a MOD on at all times, so when issues arise, you just have to wait until Monday. No one even wanted to really help me with billing issues.
