Due to personal matters, we had to cancel a reservation after the deadline, and the owner was very cool and professional about it, and excused our cancellation, even though we were late. That's the kind of business operator that makes me feel that their personal...More

Stayed in the Carriage House. Ideal arrangement for us. All the relaxation and independence of self catering but with the added bonus of a great breakfast every morning. Owner very friendly, a really relaxing place to stay.

Had a delightful stay at the Verandah while in town for the McDonald observatory Star party. Enjoyed our breakfast the next day which had a nice balance of protein (cheese, boiled eggs) and homemade goodies (muffins, coffee cake) and fruit. They even packed us goodie...More

There are rooms with 1 or 2 beds. Our suite had 2 queen beds. No smoking indoors or on the veranda - just in the garden. Pets need prior approval and there is a daily fee.

Hello. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Suite 9 has a king bedroom and a separate queen bedroom. It is not a pet friendly room, so no dogs have been in the room. Thanks!

Don't know what their policy is on children. When we stayed at the Veranda, there were kids there but I believe they were staying in one of the cottages in the back. Better contact the Veranda directly to make sure.
